I bought a car from a dealer.He sold my loan to Mid Atlantic Financing without my knowledge.I made a payment and 2 days later got my loan info from Mid Atlantic.The letter that I got from Mod Atlantic is the exact amount that was on the receipt from the dealer.The dealer credited all his finance charges from his buy here pay here.My receipt has next payment due 9/18.My first payment thru Mid Atlantic was due on 9/4.I( make my payments every 2 weeks.Dealer and Mid Atlantic both told me I could make payments to them thru dealership.Mid Atlantic is refusing to acknowledge my 9/4 payment.The dealer was supposed to forward payment to Mid Atlantic and did not do so.Mid Atlantic just will not budge.Even though i did as they asked and sent them the receipt they say I will not get credit until the dealer sends my $140 payment to them.They have threatened to repo my truck over this.When I said I was going to contact the Pennsylvania states attorney's office they said they would put my account on hold and repo my truck until they get payment from the dealer.How is the dealers refusal my fault?
