Subway station at 33rd st.

during rush hour there is always a long line when you exit the turnstiles to go up the stairs to the outside. For those who want to turn left and head to the PATH trains, this becomes even more difficult because people think you are trying to cut the line. The MTA people do nothing to control this congestion for last few months. This last time when I was going through there sometime after 5 pm, this lady was pushing me from behind and then when I turned and looked, she started telling me to calm down though I asked her to stop talking to me. She would not. Finally I told her to stop and she grabbed my hair really hard so that I couldn't walk. No one helped me though I asked them to call the police. There were no NYPD available nor staff anywhere. This would never have happened if they would take care of the cue that builds up in Herald Sq/33rd street.

Employment

Simply put. I went through hell trying to get a Bus driver Job and finally gave up. Maybe it was for the better? I recieved a letter in the mail on Feb 25 telling me that I had to report to MTA in Brooklyn at 730 am that Monday to start the process of possible employment. When I went that morning they told me that I had to have a cdl permit while the letter did not say that. After 5 years of waiting I did not pursue a CDL because I had given up on them calling me. So I came back a second time and this time they told me that I needed my origional Birth certificate , even though , they had told me on the phone , that I didn't need it. I came back the 3rd time and took a drug test and was told to come back a 4th time. The fourth time I came back to take another drug test and was told to come back for the physical. When I came back for the 5th time ,I admit I made 2 "mistakes". One was coming in at all because I had come down with my first gout attack in a year and a half and was limping. the second mistake was to tell them the truth about having a possible seizure when I was 7 years old about 28 years ago. The MTA doctor, She told me that I needed to get a note from the doctor to clear me with my foot and my head , but that the foot was her obvious concern. When I called back to verify some questions that I had about what the doctor needed to write in the note, they told me that I was not allowed to speak with the doctor? What? Anyway, My doctor, wized up and told me that they needed to fax him a form for him to fll out and clear me. When the MTA did, my doctor told them that he couldn't clear me , and that I needed to go to a neurologist and take Ct scan of my head. Again when I wanted to speak to the MTA doctor to clarify, I was told that I couldn't. Finally after visiting a neurologist and having him tell me that he wanted me to put wires in my head and take 2 days off from the job I have , and then he would clear me , Maybe!. I finally said to myself "Stop the insanity" and I gave up on this so called great Job. Somehow ,I beilive that If I was able to speak with the doctor, who, by the way , never told me that I needed a form because she was in a hurry to go to lunch! , alot of my pain woud have been avoided, because my gout is under control and I am seizure free for 28 years. But I guess they don't want honest employees there! No worries just want to let someone know to be carefull of this epic lack of knowledge there , and to cover all thier bases before they try.
