My husband works for multiband in Akron Ohio and installs direct tv dishes. He has done this for 2 yrs.
The pay is crap no raises allowed because now they are a 'union shop' what a crock. Dont expetto get paid any time soon for vactaion or work thy may jst decide to hold on to it for a while and then change their minds compleatly. Dont expect an of hte [erks promised when began working thye make things up as to why one can not get the perk they are sking about. think wht ever flow from mouth is what ever policy they decide on that day.
Dont expct qualtified personel th be promoted nope they promote those with the least amount of brain power.
dont expet to be taken care of when you are doing mandatory off clock work and you get hurt. Nope they will retroactivly change the rules so worker comp doesnt pay and your stuck.

Dont expect anything like a raise because that wouldnt be fair to the bone heads that work there also. Oh yeah dont expect to earn enough to pay all your bills and keep roof over head and buy food all in the same yr. It isnt gon to happen. How many people can one support on 15$ pre tax? not many but you cant ask for more because they are forever heiring more people. Cant ask for a raise because union and the union guy isnt worth what ever paper he has on his wall proclaiming his status.

What you can expect if you go to work for them is discrimination aginst you if youare in the ntional guard how many mondays do they think they can convince you thereare no jobs only after ever drill weekend...? Sorry no one is that stupid..
What you cn expect from them is to have someone how might have one more brain cell than a horse in a supervisory position.
You can also expect to be jerkd around when you ask a question.
you can expect any requests to go unnoticed, and rolling of the eyes when you need your drill weekend off.
YOu cna also expect to be blown off until such time as yo say will will file a complaint then the powers that be will start jumping but accomplish nothing of course.
but mostly be expected to be treated like dirt after all that is what they pay when they decide to pay that is.

Just wanted to say thank you for the prompt and friendly service. The tech was very knowledgeable and patient with our needs.
His name was Josh and his ID # is 039544. I wanted to write because we had a few concerns before we committed and he handled it very well and I think that is commendable nowadays in the service industry. I told Josh I was going to write because I really appreciated not being rushed and he took the time to answer both my questions and my husbands.
