I bought a Family Size pack of Oreos to use in an ice cream cake I made for my son's birthday. I crumbled up the oreos and in the process, found a screw in the middle of it. Thinking it was just a fluke, I used the rest of the crumbled oreos in my cake. When the guest began eating the cake, three people ended up with a screw in their mouth. It turned out we found 5 screws total in the cake, and they all were brown with an oreo residue baked onto them. Mind you, this was an ice cream cake, it had never been baked. These five screws had been baked into the oreo cookies and packaged. I expect Nabisco to refund my money plus extra, This could have been very dangerous and thankfully, everyone who got a screw in their mouth was able to spit it out rather than swallowing it.
