scam

I purchased the Groupon Blackhawks party package and bought 3 tickets for the Dec 21st game. The day before an email was sent out stating the event was cancelled because they did not have the ticktes but offered future dates in Feb/Mar to make up for the mistake. I questioned NEP how do I know that they do have the tickets for the future dates and they assured me by email that they did and that me and my friends were reserved for the Feb. 23rd game. Even though the email indicated that I was reserved, on FEb 20th I still sent an email to NEP to confirm my reservation. I only received their auto reply message stating that a representative will respond in 48 hrs. I never received a response. So last night me and my friends went to Galleria Marchetti. When we got there, there were other Groupon/Tkt purchasers waiting there as well. The restaurant was closed. Calls went out to Galleria Marchetti as well as NEP only to received voice mail boxes. This was an extreme case of really bad business practice on behalf of National Event Partners. Not only did they scram us once but let us hang on for 2 months and then scrammed us again!!! They have absolutely no regards or consideration for other peoples time. And I see on NEP website that they had ticktes availabe for last nights game...how sad you are.
