We took out a house mortgage loan with a local bank and after a while it was sold to Nationstar Mortgage. Everything was ok for about 2 years and then all of a sudden in February, 2015 they raise our payment $300 saying that we were short on our excrow.
We called and the person said that our payment had went up because we were short on our excrow--when asked how that could be, we received a nonsensical explanation. How are these people allowed to do this?? This is just wrong!! Isn't there something that could be done about this company? I guess they could just keep raising the payment until we lose (and from what I read) our farm. Somebody needs to do something about this company.
