Ruined my credit rating

Nationstar Mortgage Co. ruined my credit with EQUIFAX, telling them, I had not paid my mortgages for 5 months and that I owe them $2,181.--, both are untrue.

I have never been late paying my mortgages since I had the loan 10 years ago and I owe them no money.
In fact, Nationstar owes me ca. $500.-- in overpaid escrow payments.

I asked Nationstar to contact Equifax to correct my BAD negative credit rating of 587, but they just refuse to reply to my request.

I guess, it gives Nationstar masochistic pleasure to ruin a mortgage holders credit rating, who was NEVER late paying his mortgages.

Nationstar should either prove to Equifax that I have been late paying my mortgages for 5months
and that I owe them money, or if they cannot prove it, correct their incorrect negative credit report with Equifax.

Loan Modification Process

Loan modification with Nationstar. Thought I was going crazy! My ordeal is 19 months! Resubmitted loan modification docs numerous times to be told at the 19th mo mod is denied.

Got behind on 1 year property tax payment.

Now they are demanding pay at an over inflated amount or short sale. In pre foreclosure. But afraid they will sale and I will not be info. Since I have not recd any notification of prior actions. Except when they send my monthly mortgage Checks back with another ridiculous higher balance due!

Have the same issues as all the other complaints.
And now they do not return calls or are very condescending . I have been strung along and lied to. Anyone have any guidance or contacts that can help?

Hazard insurance funneled through escrow account, identity theft of deceased property owner

My mom had Farmers Insurance, NationStar mortgage was listed as loss payee or mortgagee. They had my mom paying hazard insurance through an escrow account every month. They did not disclose who funded the insurance, they did not provide of booklet of explanation. My mom died in January 5, 2011. Her hazard insurance was paid through November of that year. Nationstar put force place insurance in her name from 2012 til 2014 without consent of family. They have the right to insure their property but not at my dead mother's expense. They sold the house in July 18, 2013, yet they still were allowed to put force place insurance in her name until February of 2014. That is identity theft. I was told by the Social Security Administration that when my mother died, her name, social security and identity died with her. This company blatantly did what they wanted. I filed a complaint with the Business Oversight and they were basically given a slap on the wrist and told it is okay to screw consumers without recourse.
I sent proof that my mom had hazard insurance and Farmers will attest to that. Why will they not make them pay back the force place insurance she was paying from 2009 until her death through an escrow account. She had full coverage. It isn't fair and I am sick and tired of mortgage companies getting a pass for doing illegal things. They stole my mom's identity and placed insurance in her name on their property without permission from me.

Nationstar Ripoff

Nationstar Operating scams. If Nationstar acquired your Loan servicing rights prior to 2011, Send them a Qualified Written Request (RESPA, QWR letter) Demanding that nationstar prove they have all legal documents in order and provides you with proof of recorded assignments, which became a requirement in 2011. If they cannot produce the True owner and the NOTE, then they can be challenged in the court of law. You may be able to stop foreclosures or even sue them for QUIET TITLE if they cannot prove they own the Note. Check your Local statutes for Deed of Trust, ASSIGNMENTS; SUBORDINATION AND WAIVERS AS TO PRIORITY.

credit reporting

I have been working on getting my credit score up in order to do a refinance with Nationstar and haven't had a late or delinquent payment with them and they told me my score wasn't high enough at the time. 6 months ago! I have a lot of things corrected and fixed on my report but noticed in November that last transaction reported from Nationstar was in August and I have disputed it with both the credit bureaus and Nationstar and still shows August on my credit report. I have also made a complaint to the consumer finance organization and nothing has been done. I know there isn't a law for them to report but there should be! It's ridiculous that they can report peoples delinquencies to make their score go down but cant report correct balances and on time payments to help build your credit! Just another way to prevent people from refinancing at lower rates is what I see so they can continue to rob people of their money during the economic times we are in.

escrow

This company is horrible - plain and simple. The most disorganized unprofessional mortgage group I have ever dealt with. The company assumed my loan from Amtrust about a year ago and I believe they are attempting to steal my homeowners escow funds! It took nationstar a year to change or request a change on the homeowners policy, something that should happen automatically and imediately. A year later they they tell me I have no homeowners insurance - the claim is they dont know what insurance company to pay - yet two months ago there was a deduction from my escrow statement for homeowners. When asked what happened the the payment, where did it go? - they say what payment. now they want me to purchase their policy for four times the amount that covers last year.
