Nationstar mortgage worst customer service

They raised my escrow, so when my automatic payment was sent in it was a $150 short. They put the payment in a separate account, and held it there until I contacted the. After contacting them, they told me we had resolved the issue. I applied for a land loan, and found out they turned me in to the credit bureau for a missed payment, even though I have never missed a payment and the one they are referring to was automatically pulled out of my account on time, and sent to them. I then have proceeded to contact them to resolve this, and have spent hours on the phone, I have escalated the situation, I have sent numerous e-mail, and still cannot talk to anyone in the department that is supposed to handle that. They tell me there is no way to contact them, except through a general e-mail box, which I have done with no response. I am now fixing to lose my opportunity to purchase the land, because Nationstar Mortgage will not resolve this issue, and work with me. What happen to good old customer service????? After this experience I would definitely advise you on finding a different mortgage provider. There are plenty mortgage company's out there, get one that can work with you the customer......

Incompetence, harassment, stupidity

In September 2014, Nationstar bought my mortgage from Freedom Mortgage. That was the beginning of this NIGHTMARE I've been in since. My life was very painful over the last few years, I lost my brother in October 2011, my husband in April 2013, my Mother in June 2014. I am a senior and have taken care of everyone. I have had to give up my home and put it up for a short sale in May of 2015. Nationstar has done nothing but hinder all the work my realtor has tried to do for me. I owed $215,000 and someone offered $208,000 back in September 2015, and NS said my hardship letter didn't warrant a short sale. Again, this January, after the short sale price has been reduced to $150,000, NS again refused because of my hardship letter. I get a small pension and Social Security and can't afford the maintenance and repairs on the home. Nationstar just don't get it. They are the worst bank/mortgage company I've ever dealt with. All NS has done since they bought my mortgage is harass me with collection calls and accusations, all of which aren't true. I have a short sale contract with a realtor and NS hasn't worked with them since day one. As i stated in my subject line: INCOMPETENT, STUPID, NASTY, INCONSIDERATE,

Recast

IT HAS BEEN SINCE NOVEMBER 18 THAT NATIONSTAR HAS RECEIVED NOTORIZED PAPERWORK AND NOT FINISHED MY RECAST AS OF 2/2/2019. They have promised that it will be resolved and never has-it has been escalated several times to no avail. Now they say I owe a late fee and reversed 2 payments pushing me toward a foreclosure when I have paid. The monies are in suspense as they claim they are "working on it" and that I need to have patience. It is impossible to reach the same person twice. They are filled with apologies and no action. The most inept financial institution ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nationstar keeps sending me checks

Nation Star took over our account in dec 2014 from Bank of America who took it over from Countrywide
My husband is a carpenter who gets laid of in between jobs so we need to pay our Mortgage late which i include
late fees each time its late well now Nationstar is sending checks to us i called and questioned why
they said that it was money in unapplied funds they keep telling me that their system
will not let them apply the late fees to my account unless i am up to date on my payments
as of yesterday i paid September's payment included late fee over phone they accepted it
so my account is only due now for this month October 6 days pass due i asked to speak to supervisor and was given many run a rounds
i have late fees building up says Nationstar is at 200 hundred now i told them the money in unapplied funds is suppose to be credited to my late fees and the 8 checks they been sending me is the rest of my late fees that i have been paying each time i pay my payment i refuse to cash these checks its even documented on my checks i send to nationstar late fee included but they keep telling me the system will not allow them to apply them to my account for late fees i told them humans run the machines so they can over ride the system to fix a problem they have made but they are not willing they want us to get deeper in debt with them so they can take our home i need to know what do next since i cannot get nationstar to help me .email [email protected] if you have any suggestions

nationstar

I have tried to work with nation,but they will not work with me nor my attorney at all. I sent them payment in they was holding all my payment, because they had went up on my escrow with out me knowing. one day i came home in the guy was in my yard trying to lift up my garage, i corned him in with my vehicle in called the police. He told the police he was sent to my house by nationstar, i have a police report on this. If i would have had my guy on me that men would have been died today. Nation star has cross the line sending people to my house. I will be pressing charges against them that was very scary. I had mad all my payment they failed to inform me in a timely manner. now there trying to foreclose on me. PUT THIS COMPANY OUT OF BUSINESS THEY MONEY HUNGRY. I GOING FIGHT BACK I WILL NOT JUST LET THEM COME TAKE MY HOME FOR DOING THE RIGHT THING.

Fu#%ing scammers!

These thieves intentionally discontinue sending statements so they can collect more late fees. They tried this with me (statements quit coming out of the blue) and they try to penalize people for their (intentional) mistakes. They have total morons working in their customer service department, and when you ask to speak to a supervisor, you are told that there are none. I previously believed that Countrywide and Bank of America were the lowest of the bottom feeders, but Nationstar has set a new low. Why won't the Better Business Bureau go after these parasites? Most lending institutions in America have seemed to have turned into scum sucking bottom feeders! The saddest part, is that the crooks seem to have more rights than victims!

LOA MOD

I WAS CONTACTED BY NATIONSTAR THEY TOLD ME THAT WE COULD GET A NEW MOD. AND LOWER OUR PAYMENTS DUE TO OUR FINANCIAL PROBLEMS.WE WERE AT 2% AND OUR PAYMENTS WERE 1515.00 A MONTH INCLUDING TAXES AND INSURANCE. IT IS NOW 1779.00 AND THEY RAISED OUR RATE TO 4.50 BECAUSE IT WAS OUR SECOND MOD IN 5 YEARS. SO I PUT MYSELF IN A WORSE DEAL WITH THEM WE WERE TOTALLY SCREWED BY THEM WHY WOULD I REDO A MOD. WITH A RATE OF 2% AND UP MY RATE TO 4.5 OH AND ADD ANOTHER 10 YEARS ON TOP OF THAT. NATIONSTAR NEVER TOLD ME THAT THIS WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPENED OR I WOULD OF LEFT IT ALONE. SO BEWARE THEY ARE RIPOFFS.

Predatory Practices - poor customer service

I have been trying to work with Nationstar to cancel my PMI for the past 2 months. After a month they said they received the cancellation paperwork but they had not completed processing the claim and that I should call back in a couple of weeks. I called back 2 1/5 weeks later where they now said they didn't have the paperwork. After spending hours on the phone and after being placed on hold 4 times, it was apparent I wasn't going to get anywhere with her and requested to speak with her supervisor. On hold again for another hour the supervisor said we didn't qualify for PMI reduction because the "loan to value" ratio was too high, which they said was 89.15%. I knew this was nonsense because our home had appreciated over $100,000 since we had the loan so we could easily qualify for PMI cancellation, which put us at 64% - well below the 78% they said we needed to qualify. I asked what home value they had used for the calculation - they could not or would not produce a current value on our house. The supervisor said the people who did the calculations had left for the day and that he would called the following Monday. Monday came - no call so I leave him a voice message. The next day he called back but said he had not heard back from the other department. I call again on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday still the supervisor had no answers. The following Monday and Tuesday I leave a message for the supervisor but he does not return my calls. Wednesday I call and ask to talk to his supervisor and I'm placed on hold four an hour only to be transferred to a low level person working at customer service. I insist on talk to the supervisor's boss. I'm placed on hold and then tell me they'll transfer me to the supervisor's voicemail. No I say, I want to talk to his boss. I'm placed on hold again an eventually I given a name but they refuse to give me his extension but they said they would give him my name and number.

Bottom line - after 2 months of trying, Nationstar has still not processed our form to cancel the PMI. I't very apparent that they are putting up as many roadblocks as possible so that they can keep the PMI payments that they are not entitled to keep. Nationstar is very dishonest and only provides lip service and no customer service.

corrupt business practices

Nation Star lied to the BBB about my complaint. They told BBB as soon as they realized this they refunded me...bull..no refund!!
When they cashed a check for 1000.00 more than it was made out for they denied doing it, asked me for proof, and after submitting proof twice they ask me for more copies of my acct!! Because they THINK I got a refund. I said I've been asking all along for the extra money to be applied to my payments and I'm told they can't do that. ALL ALONG THEY TREATED THIS LIKE IT WAS A TYPO!!!
I WOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY TO GET A REFUND!!! But..they denied it even was cashed for that much!!
Mean while I'm getting more and more upset they have my money and won't refund, won't apply it to my payment, deny they even did this.
Their dates are even wrong as to when all this took place!!!
THIS HAPPENED IN MARCH 2014 AND I STILL AM SCREWED OVER FOR 1000.00!!!!
How can we take them down???

Nationstar Mortgage

NationStar changed my mortgage payments without notifying me. Then, three months later, I got a letter saying they were going to foreclose. I checked with my bank, and they had cashed my payments all along. So I called NS and they told me they weren't legally liable to tell me if they increase the escrow, thereby increasing the mortgage payment. Here comes the rub: they have a policy that if you don't pay the full mortgage payment, they don't apply any of it. They put it in a side account until you make pay enough to pay the new payments, and then they apply it. This is not mentioned anywhere in the mortgage I had that they bought from 1st Horizon and are supposed to adhere to. I've contacted four other lenders, who say this is a policy NS has. Still, NS won't remove the late remarks on my credit, keeping me in their mortgage until I can repair their damage enough to put my house on the market and sell this home. I have filed disputes with the credit bureaus, who tell me they will go with what the company says who put the remarks on my credit, even though I provided them with twelve months of bank statements. I feel like the system is rigged for the businesses against the consumer. Equifax told me that the dispute process is simply for the bureaus to point out what could be a simple mistake on the mortgage lender's part; they will not over-ride the lender's statement. So, if you have a predatory lender like NationStar, they can pretty much get away with putting anything on your credit they want.

I am filing a complaint with the BBC, and sending letters to our Senator and Congressman here in Indiana. My lawyer said they are a predatory lender, one of the "snakes in the business." So, whatever you do, STAY AWAY FROM NATIONSTAR!!!

Conflicting Information

I finbally got a trial modification from Nationbstar Mtg. After contacting Keep Your Home California who has agreed I am elegible to qualify for principle reduction. Since January of 2014 I and Keep Your Home California have been waiting for a response from Nationstar Mtg. I have caalled their customer service line many times and get different answer each time, from we don't handle that dept to some one will call you back tomorrow ( it never happens) to you can not have a modification and help from other organizations. The servicer says my payments are going up again due to shortage in the escrow account. I really need some one to tell me the truth and what is going on with this.

Nationstar Mortgage - poor customer service

I am writing to complain about the extremely poor customer service I received while dealing with Nationstar Mortgage. My loan was originally serviced by Aurora and for some reason everything was transferred to Nationstar. That was the beginning of my dilemma with Nationstar Mortgage. They stopped sending paper statements out of the blue and it took me many months to get them to start sending them again. I finally inherited enough money to pay off my loan, which I did on February 18, 2014. I had asked for a letter stating that my loan had been satisfied, and as of March 28, 2014, I still do no have the letter. This company should be sued by all of us in a class action suit due to what we have had to endure from such an unscrupulous company. Most of the employees don't speak good English, and they promise and do not deliver. This is the worst company to do business with and should be forced out of such a business.

Nationstar mortgage

I was representing a seller in a short sale with Nationstar. This company countered the sales price to $10,000.00 more and the buyer accepted. Our commission was reduced too and the buyer's agent and I also accepted. Lo and Behold, they foreclosed
a day after the New Years holiday to beat a New California law that took effect on Jan 13, 2013 wherein lenders cannot foreclose
on homeowners who are modifying their loans or trying to short sale them.
