In August of 2013, I moved out of the Terrace Cove apartment complex in Austin TX. I gave them 60 days notice and paid every penny of the rent and utility fees that I owed through the date of my departure. This was confirmed by the then- manager, Ms. Gwen Peshkow. Several months later, without any notice of any kind from Terrace Cove, I was informed by NCC Business Services of Jacksonville FL that I owed them the sum of $696. I knew this was a mistake as I had already paid everything I owed. Then this false charge showed up on my credit reports. I complained to the credit bureaus. So far, only Transunion has done the proper action and deleted that charge. Experian gave me a run-around the like of which I have seldom encountered and refused to even legt me talk to a supervisor. Their "customer service" team is apparently as dishonest as NCC. I am still talking with Equifax, but expect they will see the merit of my case, especially since I have received written proof from the new management at Terrace Cove that there is not a single shred of evidence that any such charge was ever made. As for NCC, they are still claiming that I owe them $696, even though they have refused to provide any paperwork (which, of course, they can't because this is a fraudulent charge). I have heard and read many things about NCC from many sources, and not one of them had anything positive to say about this gang of thieves. I tried to attach a copy of the letter from Terrace Cove to this note, but it would accept either Word or Adobe format.
