Nescafe classic coffee

I had been drinking Nescafe classic coffee for past 7 years. Few days back i had ordered the nescafe classic coffee through Amazon. and to my surprise the coffee had a burnt flavor and aroma.

Recipe change

I have been drinking Nescafe Gold blend ever since I can remember and I'm 36 years old. This was the only coffee my grandparents would buy and they had been doing so since the product was first launched back in 1938! 3 generations of my family were raised on this stuff and no other brand even came close to this delicious blend of coffee.

Since the recipe was abruptly changed when the new packaging was has been completely ruined for me. The new recipe is just vile! I hopefully tried Nescafe 'Original', - (which was my backup coffee whenever I couldn't afford to fork out for the gold blend), only to find that it wasn't original at all... Because that too had changed to a horrible new recipe!

I have since tried every brand of instant coffee known to man but nothing comes close. I have tried mixing this and that but nope! I've now given up looking for a suitable replacement and have switched to drinking tea at home now and only take coffee on the rare occasion that I have the time to make it fresh, from coffee beans.

I appreciate that Nescafe are trying to increase their profit margins but they could easily have done so by keeping the original product in place and increasing the price. At the very least, they should have made their customers aware at the time that there was going to be a recipe change, instead of changing it and hoping that no-one would notice. At least that would have given us the chance to be able to stock up on the old recipe coffee before it became unavailable.

I feel Nescafe have treated their customers very poorly by changing their various product recipes, especially after such a very long time ... And with absolutely no warning.

It's time they started listening to their disgruntled, formerly loyal customers and brought back the original versions
