I called today to check the status of my claim as I've been claiming since July but not receiving any payment. I've spoken to 2 people prior and they told me to wait and keep claiming. Now the rep today says I need to reapply for a new claim. I stated that I tried that before and the site message states I can not because I already have a current claim active. She stated she submitted a request for the labor department to fix the previous claim to allow me to do a new claim as she wasn't able to do anything. I ask her what would happen with the previous months' that I claimed and she couldn't give a straight answer and that the labor department would get back to me. I request to wait while she gets a manager to talk to. After waiting on hold for more than 20 minutes and she came back and forth repeating the same things. She then stated a scripted message that I should keep checking my claim status and once the status is blank then I can reapply. Then she hung up on me. I'm in need of immediate assistance and this isn't right. We are all going through it and I did everything they asked and only wish they could do what is promised and right to do.
