This company is a contractor who the mobile home park I live in, has contracted for years to do the installation as well as plumbing for them for a long time. Northeastern Air Control Inc is located at 8809 Morgan Rd. Montville, Ohio 44064. Their phone number is 440-968-0136. The owners name is Greg Kangas and aside from him, the company employs two other people. The annual revenue is $235,577 and they've been in business for the past 19 years. Now, I don't make that kind of money every year. So the total I had to pay this guy to incorrectly install my central air unit of $3,000 had to be added onto my mortgage payment. So, after a single year of use, my central air unit quit working. Totally caput, it was done for. And btw, I can't find any certifications online for this company nor are they accredited with the BBB. Just keep that in mind. So, a family member of my finances, who IS certified in HVAC, and who does work for a BBB accredited company came out to have a look at my unit to see if he could figure out what was wrong after only a year. And well, it would be a much smaller list trying to name anything that was done correctly, than the seemingly endless list of everything done incorrectly. Not only did the way the system was rigged up potentially could've caused harm to me and my family, the second we started really looking at the catastrophe that we paid over $3,000 for, and we were rather upset about it being that this started in June! Rightfully so. So a couple of months of no responses in a timely fashion, and just all around ducking us, my fiance was able to reach Greg, in which Greg Kangas told him that since we didn't want him installing the new compressor correctly, well we could just go ahead and take it off ourselves. And not only that, but we can drive the hour and a half to take the busted compressor to his dealer and exchange it for one that would work! And I am writing this right now, not only because I am completely disgusted with how unprofessional Greg is, unethical, what have you. I'm also writing this as a harsh warning for anyone who cares enough about where there money is going to, or rather who. But I'm also writing this as it unfolds as my backup to any unforseen trouble I might have attempting to exchange the compressor that's still under warranty, obviously, for the new one at the establishment that Greg gets his from. The time for being ethical has far surpassed Northeastern Air Control Inc at this point. Don't waste your money people. This should be considered illegal, and who knows. Maybe it is. I guess I'll find out exactly what my options are in being completely ripped off and scammed by a company like this for thousands of dollars. One example I can give anyone about how he totally doesn't have a clue what he's doing is, my home runs off electric, however my thermostat was switched over to gas.
