Loud neighbor Amsterdam Houses at 242 W 62nd St, 6th Fl, Manhattan. This person plays very loud music daily from 12am all the way to the next morning 6am. The walls in my apt shake and it can be heard clearly in my apt. Not only is the music loud and obstructing the quality of life of others but it is also very sexually explicit. This person has a school age young child so I don’t under how can they be so neglectful to their own child. I have made complaints to 311 but the problem is not being addressed. I have to go to work the next day with barely any sleep or no sleep at all because of the loud disturbing noise coming from that apt. My children are also being affected because they have to get up early for school and this person’s inconsiderate selfish actions are causing them to lose nights of sleep as well. I am not only using this forum as a means of venting but also in hopes that someone can suggest a solution. BTW, personally confronting this person will only make matters worst because she is not the civilized type of person. There has been major violence coming from that apt before and the police has had to break down her door because she refused to answer. These are not the type of people you want to approach directly.
