B82 Bus Line

Bus Operators on the B 82 are out of control!! Their interaction with the Public is so irrational, disrespectful and they have no real knowledge of how to treat others! The way they treat the elderly and students, is crazy! My mother hurt her leg a few year ago having to climb off a bus who insisted on making a left on sea view ave instead of right to the last stop and asked her to get off the bus At the LEFT TURNING LANE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET AND DID NOT KNEEL THE BUS, she’s still in pain!!! Now today my daughter tell me that the select bus driver refused to stop at 105th & Flatlands which is a scheduled stop. Took her all the way to Rockaway parkway train Station!!! Im more than just upset, I will be writing to my community board leaders!! There’s no way I would let my kid be on that side of town ALONE , she’s 11 years old!! Her stop is 11 mins from home, she walked back to school and that walk alone was 25 mins, in an area that she’s never been! This is a new school, now she traumatized, I picked this school because of the bus route, if the B82 bus drivers would only do their job!!! She boarded bus today at 7:40

Bad employees

B 82 bus drivers are HORRIBLE !!! Disgusting and do no do their jobs!! They are horrible to the students & horrible to the Ederly which is very hard to swallow. The select Bus constantly misses its stops even after you verbally request the stop, he just wants to follow behind the bus in the front even after ppl waive him down he doesn’t stop. I walked 20 mins back to the stop I had requested. When I wouldv have reached there in 11 mins . I was taken out of my way and late! Very s disturbing

abusive language

At 7:50 am Nov 1, 2019 (license plate 8552, BX 7, west 239 st stop) an NYC bus driver was honking his horn like a maniac at me because I made a left turn on the right lane (there are two lanes). Was I in the wrong, yes. I stopped my SUV and I yelled at him what was his problem when he was about two car lengths behind me when I made the turn. I had my child in the car and who knows how many passengers he had on the bus. I am making this point because whether he can see my passengers or not he is supposed to have been trained and experience for these situations after all this is NYC and the roads are congested. The bus driver jumps out of the bus and was abusive in his language. I am not trying to justify my behavior, but this is NYC were countless buses, trucks and other vehicles jump in front or cut you off. Have we gotten to the point where we now have to accept abusive behavior by the people who are of service to this city or this is another step down on the quality of individuals servicing this city.
