My Fiance and I have been battling with Ocwen Financial for approx 6 months. He went through a nasty divorce and was involved in a motorcycle accident and was on the brink of losing his home to forclosure when we applied for the HAMP loan modification. We were sent an initial in house loan approval and received a HAMP approval right after we made our 1st payment. I called OCWEN who assured me that YES, we got the HAMP loan. The Ocwen customer website also reflected our approval and the lower payment UNTIL the relationship managaer called for a follow up and spoke to my fiance by the time I logged in that night they had put us back in the in house modification. after SEVERAL phone calls and complaints they told us we needed to reapply for the HAMP loan and keep making our payments which we did. We were told we just needed to send in updated paystubs and it was one thing after the next and today I just checked and we don't qualify because we are financially able to make our payments!! I am SO beside myself. I was a mortgage loan officer for years and I am taking this to the top!! We NEVER recieved a denial after we were initially approved for the HAMP program although they state it was approved and denied and I have the original HAMP approval but NEVER recieved a denial!! Then we reapply like the relationship manager told us to go through another 2 months of waiting and having to send bs documentation and the ONE thing they NEVER asked for was the original hardship letter or documentation again. BEYOND FRUSTRATED!!!
