I never even had a Mortgage with OCWEN and never even heard of them until they started robo-calling me at hours between 4AM and 6AM daily advising me that my (non-existent) mortgage was delinquent and demanding that I remit "zero dollars and zero cents" immediately. That went on for weeks until I finally found the CEO's address and phone # (which has been changed now) and I called repeatedly and left messages saying that I would bomb his house and kill his entire family if the robot wasn't disabled. The calls stopped immediately.
I immediately started researching them and discovered that they were claiming that I was a client of theirs because the had purchased mortgages from Discover Home Loans who were bought out by Morgan Stanley. My trail of complicity ended when I paid off the mortgage at first sight of the name Morgan Stanley. So, in that confused state of shark-frenzy OCWEN ended up with some docs related to a paid off loan which they proceeded to use to harass and intimidate me continuously over that past 4 years. I never paid them any of the false insurance charges and other unspecified charges and in fact, during the months of treating them like a vulgar hobby, I discovered I had overpaid Morgan Stanley by $75. I have never paid them anything and harass them as often as I can. When they threatened to sue me if I didn't pay the phony insurance premium of $660.00 they needed to cover the $0 balance on the non-existance loan they held on my home. I have called them several times and even stated that "I was sorry that I haven't paid the $660. but my house burned dow, soooo, if you'll send me $645,000 to rebuild, you (OCWEN) can hold out the $66.00 dollars for the (phony) insurance premium. WIN-WIN, right OCCY-POO?
What we need is someone to track the CEO down so we can resolve this ourselves. Banks aren't going to be held accountable in this governmental atmosphere- not even phony and criminal ones. Last time, someone found his name and number by tracking the West Palm Beach CofC. Someone with better sniffing skills than me needs to get new info and keep renewing it, posting it online, until we can get to this criminal. Let's do this
