We just joined outdoor adventures this year and are not satisfied at all. We went to The campground in West branch in lawns were mowed it was terrible with the pollen and their reason was your lawnmower is broke nothing was opened as it was the end of May. So made reservations in Grandhaven for June 3 through the 11th the campground seems to be OK not very many people working here things are not open for very long they have a go kart track which has not been open since we’ve been here and will not be opening as we were told until Friday. Went to play putter golf and that’s all run down and not taken care of the pool needs to be re-lined they also said they had an RC park so we went and bought our grandson a remote control car but found out we couldn’t use it because that was not completed so we are very unhappy with the way these campgrounds are being run. We understand they’re short of help but to me it’s false advertisement in the way that these campgrounds are not kept up they should not be charging members like myself maintenance fees monthly. I would like to see these maintenance fees end until they are up and running in full force. The employees that are here are very friendly that I am not complaining about but there are not enough people here to run the campground and to keep it looking nice. Talked to quite a few people at the campground and they like the area but they too are not happy with the way things are being taken care of . We have friends that ask us every time we get home as to how our camping was we don’t really know what to tell them . How can we promote this place if they don’t start changing things and doing it soon I again would like to see my maintenance fees dropped for at least a year until they can get things established in up and running halfway decent. I’m already paying a monthly fee to camp and we will continue to camp only because of the fact that we are paying and need to be able to use it because we can’t afford to go somewhere else and have to pay again.
