You just couldn't leave it alone, could you? Now, you guys may have set a new speed record for spineless corporate position vacillations. The whole thing was and is pathetic.
Here's the deal: We used to choose your channel for "kid-safe", family-friendly, feel-good programming so we don't have to explain sexual content to the kids. Your channel isn't supposed to be about sexual content, whether it's straight, gay or whatever, either on your programming itself or on your advertising. If you are going to be just like all the other trash on TV, you will lose enormous numbers of viewers. You will lose even more for not deciding what you believe and sticking to it.
We trusted you to be one of the few places of refuge on TV from moral decay. We trusted you to be above "political correctness". You broke that trust. Then changed your minds. Then instantly caved in to pressure from a very noisy, small minority and changed your minds again. Pathetic. I'm done with you. Really bad move.
