Feel I was scammed into buying a house from pam price and Chesapeake inspection services. I bought home from pam price and she brought her own inspector in for pre inspection of house. Chesapeake inspection services showed up and gave us a list. On roofing he stated few nails that needed to be knocked down. 3 weeks into living in home, the roof gave out and water went ever where. Another inspector came out to house from different company and not only was the roof not up to code with 3 layers of old shingles but had at least 3 different patching jobs from 3 different color shingles. When I moved in, there was small dip in floor and I just figured it was just because it was old home. Chesapeake went under home and put on report few wires down but nothing about foundation. We found out the brinks that hold up the center of home have no concrete footings under them so basically the whole house is sinking thru out middle. I feel that I was scammed into buying this home by remax and Chesapeake inspection services. Things were left out at time of sale to leas me to believe home was safe. But in the end the home is not safe , pam and her friend at Chesapeake both have decided that they are not helping with the issue falls on them pam says she is just a salesperson but yet she is the one who contacted her friend from Chesapeake inspection services. They should go in half and fix the issue. You cant legally sell a home with no footers and walk away like you just dont care. posted this on Facebook and seems I am not only one with issues towards these companies. I do not recommend pam price nor remax. I definitely dont recommend Chesapeake inspection services. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Owner of Chesapeake came to house , he said to me he never noticed it did not have footer and asked me to my face what would I like him to do. I said level my house since was his mistake. He left my home saying let him make phone calls to see what he can do. 5 days into not hearing from him we called him back, he said nothing he can do . Guessing he did not like the price he would have to pay for his mess up, he would rather the home owner to clean up his mess
