Currently attending paul mitchell the school Reno and I warn everyone I can not to go to this school. I've had nearly everything from my kit stolen, the administration does nothing about it. Made a feburary payment, stupid me thinking I could trust the school to keep track of my billing information and not getting a receipt, now I have to pay feburary again. The school I attend is incredibly clicky nobody gets along and there is always drama. There's a 35 year old man who walks around and does nothing all day unless he has a client he has had sexual relations with many of the young students there and has even said to many people he has with the staff. In my opinion we have a pedophile walking around ive seen him chexk out young girls maybe 14 ,15 years old. Its incredibly uncomfortable. One of my friends had her makeup kit stolen. I asked the main person who has access to all the cameras if we had cameras on the right side of the parking lot, she then shouted at me and said "why would we" she treated me like I was an idiot for asking such a simple and logical question. "Learning leaders" at this school really like to pick favorites here. We often have retake days if we're missing tests but everyone will notice only the students who suck up to certian learning leaders get to partake in "retake day". I was missing upto 12 tests because I had contracted swine flu in January and never once was I allowed to do retakes. The learning leaders will disappear regularly, there are only two learning leaders in day school who actually care about their job and the education of students who attend. Fridays and Saturdays we are always short staffed, the busiest days of the week. I've had a client waiting in my chair to get her hair done for over 30 minutes just because I couldn't find a learning leader to sign my ticket. Everyone freaks out when state Board come in, all of a sudden they will in force the rules and it becomes chaos. They clean everything meticulously, they will enforce how to drape a client properly when they never did before, they make us wear name tags on the floor, when they never cared before. They will treat everyone like complete trash if we don't all of a sudden abide by the rules. I'm just tired of this place and I can't wait to be done I'm honestly embarrassed to say that I've attended this school.
