First,let me say that Paul Mitchell the School San Diego,CA.was the worst school I have ever been too.The school knew I was 57yrs old when I started..Yet after I graduated and got my license,went too the school too have them place me in an assistants position.but they told me they did not have too find me a job.and I said I thought you had lifetime placement and she said that was for there students under 40 yrs of age.I got really pissed and called her BITCH!!so they kick me out of the building.Yet 2 of the cutting specialists got fired for sleeping with the nighttime students.and they brought one back.they were teaching more than cosmetology.they got written up at least 4 times from state board of ca.for hair in the product.students had too miss a week so they could change the floor because of mold nasty.i got about 1 guest a month and the school said that was average.yet others were getting 2 and 3 guest a day.they played the age game with me.i did 1 foil so it's been 3 yrs I just taught myself too foil.but it's been 3yrs ago since I got my license and I can't even get salons too call me back.i think the government should take the complaints and close all Paul Mitchell schools.so no one else gets RIPPED OFF.they never checked our work boxed you worked on for a month some school.so my 22k down the drain.and now I have equipment I bought I will never use because no salon will hire me not even for an assistants job.because I'm either too old or not enough training.pow wows were a waste of time.parlor games were so stupid.and pow wow is so racist.and free hug days was a total waste of time.
