I recently started a paypal account for convenience on Ebay. I was entertaining possibly selling something so I set up the paypal account. I did not purchase anything nor did I ask for any credit. I got an email stating that I had a $900.00 credit limit which I basically ignored. I checked my credit today and it appears I have a Hard Credit inquiry from them on my report! I never filled out a credit application nor did I ever want paypal credit. They did this without my permission and I want this removed!

I was looking at my credit report and found that CCB/PPC had ran a hard credit inquiry on me. I looked the CCB/PPC up on the internet because I had no idea who that is. I also saw other people complaining about the same situation I am in. I did not sign up or authorize this account! I had used a service called Bill Me Later to make a large purchase for some diamond earrings several years ago and obviously when they changed over to PayPal Credit a credit report was ran without my knowledge or my permission. This hard inquiry has affected my credit score and I am furious. A credit inquiry should not be done without a person's permission. I called them and they were very vague and kept saying you requested this account and I told them I did not do this with paypal. The inquiry was done on 9/26/14. I want this inquirey removed from my credit report. Can you help me?
