Purchased this card at Best Buy. BIG MISTAKE! I loaded 150 dollars on it, then when called the 1-800 number to activate the card the agent wanted very personal identification details. Gave those details, agent said unable to activate card...try again starting from scratch in 24 hours. THIS IS A FRAUDULANT CARD! BEWARE!!! Home Depot assures me that they will deal with this issue ( selling fraudulent product on Tuesday. Manager seemed confident that Home Depot would refund me.
Meanwhile advice to everyone ... REPORT TO CANADIAN ANTI-FRAUD CENTRE ; 1-800-495-8501.

I purchased a PayPower VISA card at the Home Depot Store on Cambie Street. When I called the activation number to activate the card, the agent asked for my name, address, phone number, driver's license number, and my social security number. I thought this was strange, because it is a pre-paid visa card ... doesn't matter who I am - I could be John Doe! Why so much private information needed? Long story short the agent said he could not verify my information today, and that I would need to start the verification process from scratch in 24 hours.
This sounds like CONSUMER FRAUD to me.

I HAD MY FED INCOME PUT ON A PAYPOWER CARD. I GOT IN CONTACT WITH IRS AND THEY SAID IT HAD BEEN PUT ON THERE SINCE FEB 13TH. WELL I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING SO I CONTACTED THE BANCORP BANK AND THE CEO DID SOME INVESTAGATIONING AND FOUND OUT THAT THERE WAS SECOND CARD THAT I NEVER GOT AND IT SITS ON THAT CARD!!! THE BANCORP BANK DIDN'T KNOW WHY THERE WAS A SECOND CARD AND WHY I HAVE NOT GOT MY INCOME TAX MONEY WHICH IS MINE. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE BROUGHT UP ON CHARGES. THEY ARE STEALING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY.IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK,PLEASE DO I AM BEGGING YOU
