Peabody Chase Consulting

It does not matter that a deal was never closed if that's not what the arrangement was with Peabody Chase. It so happens that the deal was a commission out of the up front fees as well. If I'm not going to get that relatively small amount then I don't expect they'll come through on the larger amount due at closing. I find it interesting that I've been able to locate complaints by 3 others online about the same time also having trouble collecting commissions from Peabody Chase. Yes, I've posted on other sites to make sure that my experience with this company was seen but it turns out I have not been the only one who's gone through this with this company. Furthermore, it seems more damage control that so many people use the same argument that I didn't get the deal done. It's definitely coordinated by the company when allegedly or actual different people are doing it. It does not matter and is a moot argument if that was not the deal and also if I have evidence supporting that I had a different deal, which I do. They include numerous emails between myself and the owner of the firm including negotiations referencing all parts of our deal via email which he also never lived up to. I have evidence of that as well. H#ll, I've got all sorts of proof. They all know it yet try using the same argument they can't support but I can tear apart no problem with all the emails I have. Yep, nothing more than attempts at damage control. If this is how a company operates, and I've notices some of the others who had similar problems about the same time I did, I'd wonder how well funded such a company that is supposed to be helping other people and companies find money, how well funded they are themselves.

Peabody Chase Consulting Delivers

Amazing that you are complaining about deals tyou never closed. I have had the pleasure of working with PCC and Gerry Wood.
My company needed to close on a 12million purchase on a project fast!! Peabody Chase Consulting was able to deliver a closing within two weeks of my request. I have been in my business for more than 25years through good times and bad. I have very rarely had the chance to deal with a company that delivered more than what I could have imagined. In our crux to get our deal done My company was more than happy to pay Peabody Chase Consulting over 100k for their expertise and diligence(after at the closing table)
Prior to working with Peabody Chase Consulting we ran into lots of people who demanded fees but never delivered. From reading your complaint you never closed a deal with Peabody Chase as an employee. Peabody Chase Consulting is in the process of closing out three more deals with my firm totaling more than 10m I could not be happier with the service as a client.

BTW you never mentioned anything about your client? I am A Peabody Chase Consulting client if you want to private message me about my experience and endorsement of this firm I would be more than happy to oblige. I cannot offer any advice for any perspective employee because I have not worked for Peabody Chase Consulting.

I can tell you based on the above complaint about not getting paid on deals he has never closed makes me happy he no longer works with Peabody Chase Consulting.

Non-payment of commissions

I worked with Peabody Chase Consulting (PC) in the capacity of an Independent Funding Consultant. I was to find businesses and individuals in need of financing or capital. There was to be more involvement in the actual funding process but due to the serious lack of training this never developed

For the larger deals and projects, of which I was finding, PC charges an upfront fee. This made it much more difficult to find such deals because the businesses either didn't have the money for the fees, were against such fees on principle, or were aware of the many scams were fees were asked but services never delivered. There were some incredible deals, some including new technologies that could have changed the way we live. The technologies were already proven, They just needed the capital to bring them to market. I couldn't even bring some of these to PC because so much had been stated about how it costs money to do these deals. The businesses just couldn't or wouldn't pay those fees. Incredible returns, and even small portions of ownership in these technologies that could have easily made us rich were lost or had to be passed on. It shows an extreme shortsightedness. The company seems to work somewhat better with smaller deals.

Of the deals I was responsible for I was either paid late or in the last instance, not paid at all. It was our agreement that I was to get a portion of the upfront fee, a generous portion of the commissions collected from the company upon fund and, if a portion of the company was taken in the deal, I was to get half of that.

I went for over a month of promises and excuses, some extremely implausible why I hadn't been paid yet. Somehow, along the way I'm sure the Managing Partner paid his bills and perhaps his other agents and employees. There is no excuse why he couldn't pay me. Conditions turned to conflict between us. Eventually, we negotiated an agreement between us to resolve the situation. It's been 2 weeks and he still hasn't even signed the agreement we spent an entire day negotiating. It's now about 2-1/2 months and I've still not been paid. I get promise after promise and "AT BEST," excuses. I have evidence of the facts that PC has been promising to pay me, some of the excuses and more.

If you're considering doing business with Peabody Chase Consulting, if this is the way they treat the people they work with, who bring them the actual projects and deals, how might they perform in their dealings with you? If you're considering working with or for Peabody Chase the opportunity sounds very good but get every detail in writing in such a format that it would be enforceable in a court of law.
