This gym just opened in Murrells Inlet, SC. Aug 7, 2017 one guy was working at 12:15 am 100% rude. Not just last night, every time he has been there that I have seen him he is mean. Worst employee experience I have ever had at any gym down here. He acts like a bully eyeing everyone like they are doing something wrong. Flat out ignoring me when I go out of my way to say hello to him. When ever he comes around to clean glaring at me and everyone no smile hating his job. He literally ruins my work out every time he is working. I would think at a "bully free" gym they would take better care of hiring.

I went in to join for tanning for the first time....the guy who registered me was not the nicest person I have ever dealt with...he never cracked a smile and he went through registration so fast and when I had questions he acted like "I just told you this can't you remember?"...he acted like I was bothering him...I went in and tanned and I had another question when I came out so I asked this girl and she was just as rude...I'm not crazy about Planet Fitnes at all!!

Tired of the rude know it all desk workers at this gym. Ask questions and if they do get off their buts, you get an aditude with any questions. They are not qualified or experienced enough for advise. These gyms are all run by 18 to 24 year old . I have been going to gyms longer than they have been alive, but they will still argue with you and get an aditude. They have a weight lifting trainer that is around 20, really , take advise from someone that was taking a bus to school a few years ago,lol.I can imagine how much experience to get working at a gym for couple years,lol. You get what you pay for.

I will start out by saying if anyone had any thoughts about joining this gym...change ur mind now. Dont let the 10 dollar membership nonsense fool you. yes this gym does have different deals where you can join for very cheap but you're much better off paying a bit more money so you can deal with people who actually care every time you want to work out. this leads me to my next point...THE STAFF. they are beyond rude. i was amazed at how employees could get away with treating their customers the way they do. there was one incident where i went and asked an employee wen a better time to come was because the place was packed beyond belief. the fat meathead of an employee replied "HA" and that was it. the way these people handle their customers is very poor and in fact outrageous. also, the small gym is always packed... while i realize that most gyms are crowded during the rush hours...this is simply out of control! really its a fire hazard. if ur thinking of going during rush hours be prepared to wait in a long line to use anything. even wen it is not the rush hours it is still packed and none of the cardio machines are ever available. so what was supposed to be a quick hour and a half workout turns into a 3 hour ordeal. this place is bullshit. there is so much time spent doing nothing there because of its size and capacity there is always a line. so when you're working out be prepared to have half the gym staring at you while u work out because theyre waiting in line and have nothing better to do. their area for abs and things such as yoga is about the size of a big bathroom. no joke. another thing about the gym that i dont understand is they do this thing like once a week where they order a bunch of pizza there? ok yea i mean that makes perfect sense because i love to smell greasy pizza while working out haha u kidding me? they also have toasters and bagels for in the morning so when i work out the smell of the toast and bagels and stuff definitely motivates me hahah give me a break. dont even get me started on the "lunk alarm"! again this place is bullshit.

I go to the Cincinnati Planet Fitness locations and not sure where the negativity is coming from. Great price, nice people, great machines, clean new locker rooms, great tanning, massage chairs. Chill out America. Maybe in different cities some bad employees get hired but from what I have seen in Cincinnati is top notch...also an A rating from BBB backs that up.
