I have tried to terminate a contract with Protect America for medical reasons and they have not availed me to that option.

Protect America, a home security system provider, will not allow me to terminate a three year service contract with them despite my having medical reasons for that request.

In addition I did not realize nor understand that a thirty-six (36) month requirement was imposed.

I am ready, willing, and able to send them their equipment back and would even consider a nominal restocking fee but that company has not given me that option.

My age (66) and medical condition (retired from the State of Oregon for acute depression) give me some protections (cognitive impairment) and I respectfully request your assistance in this matter.
