False promises of lead generation
Realtor.com signs you up for a one year program with a promise of a certain number of leads over that year. I signed up for 20 leads per month, (240/yr). In the first 4 months, they have only provided a TOTAL of 21 leads. When I called to cancel, they informed me that they didn't promise any leads each month and told me that if I wanted to cancel, they would charge me 50
% of the remaining contract with no leads provided going forward. They have failed to provide the level of leads they promised, yet feel the right to continue taking my money. They claim they will negotiate at the end of the contract if they haven't provided the number of leads promised. The problem is, the low volume that they are providing on a monthly basis is so low, that if they in fact, do provide the total promised by the end of the year, that it will be too high volume in a short period for me to handle. If I get 5 leads per month as I have been, they will owe me almost 200 leads in the last month. If they deliver these in the last short while of the contract, it will be a waste of my money, because no one agent can work 200 fresh leads in a month at any level of professionalism. STAY FAR AWAY FROM REALTOR.COM!!!!!

Unable to cancel
I requested to cancel the service due to a major life event when my spouse was let go from her employer. I had to take on a full time job to make up the income shortfall and contacted Realtor.com immediately to cancel the relationship as I was unable to continue to work the leads and also unable to pay the credit card balance building up each month from Realtor.com. To make a long story short, they did not cancel the service and continued to charge my credit card each month. I made numerous calls, submitted in writing several request and had no luck. I was forced to contact my bank to change the credit card account number. I would not recommend doing business with a company that has no flexibility to work with their paying customers.

wont refund my money
Realtor.com is a terrible company to do business with, When they signed me up they said that I would be on a moth to moth contract and that I could cancel at any time. Shortly after I paid, I received an email telling me that I was on a year contract and there was no cancellation options. They did have a 3 day opt out. I opted out with in the 3 days and it's been over a month, any many many calls to customer service representatives. and they have not given me a refund. The leads that the sent for the 2 days were junk leads! Don't do Business with this deceptive company!! I wonder if they will ever give me a refund!

Very Deceptive
Signed up with them 4 months ago based on the notion that I can cancel at any time. I specifically questioned rep about contract and cancelation and he said the 12 months doesn’t mean that you’re bound to it you can cancel and anytime. Now I’m calling to cancel and rep only cancelled the top producer and not the entire thing. I’m so pissed off! I told them I wanted it totally cancelled. Now they’re saying I have to wait until the contract ends! This is so ridiculous! Be upfront with people and let them make decisions based on the whole truth!!!! DECEPTIVE! Never again with Realtor.com!!

realtor.com ARE scammers! They charged products to my credit card without my consent : Buyer Assist products and the Rep who did it would no longer speak with me. All of a sudden, my account was no longer assigned to him, or anyone else! They put me on long hold times (20-30 miutes) each time I called in to get it resolved. Then one of their bullies, James Beaver came on the phone to tell me too bad, so sad and go through my credit card company to cancel if I want! He didn't even try to prove that I made the charges (which I did NOT) or save the client relationship. I will NEVER use them once the Featured Home I did order comes up for renewal. BEWARE! Watch your credit card bill like a hawk or just don't use Realtor.com.

lead gen system
I don't understand how a "professional" Co. like REALTOR.com would behave like thugs! I paid $230.00/mth for a zip code in an upper class neighborhood, received some leads but they were all nonproductive in that the buyers/sellers changed their minds, just a tax question, just looking or they already had an agent. I get the impression that maybe REALTOR.com is paying "fakes" to follow up on fake leads to keep the real estate agent from canceling. I am going to make a complaint with the FBI for Internet fraud. I would advise you to do the same if you have been scammed. Please go to http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx Internet Crime Complaint Center IC3. Lets have the FBI GO THROUGH THEIR FILES to see if they are using fake "buyers/sellers" and stop ripping off agents.
