I Sneha patel faced problem of Passport and harass by passport office Ahmadabad ,its big mistake from Passport office/Department.
While submitting reissue application THERE WAS ONTHER PERSON ALSO HAVING SAME PASSPORT NO appears in PASSPORT OFFICE WEB SITE and passport department already accepted THERE mistake, even though they are not issuing my reissue passport even after two month time. F/NO: AH3077994451814 and DObith 22/10/1990.

Myself Nalini M.Patel from Vadodara I herewith request you to provide me favour in under mention matter.
My daughter Patel Sneha Mahendra (Architect), having a valid passport no.G5769148 issued from Surat office dated 01/11/2007 valid upto 31/10/2017 applied for reissue of passport at Vadodara Passport Office as matter of change of address.
This passport is on our Ankleshwar address and from past 4 years we have shifted to Vadodara.As my daughter is applying for further studies she needed the passport address to be changed to our current address.So for this we booked application for change in address and we got date 19/08/2014,her application no. is AH3077994451814. At Vadodara passport office,she went through all formalities and also got her passport stamped cancelled by counter B then at counter C at last they found entering her passport number that there is one other person (male) also with the same number as her passport number.We are shocked to know this as there is no other valid ID Proof other than passport in India and how can such a blunder occur ??
They kept on hold her application on 19/08/14 also called her again next day on 20/08/14 as they said they have sent the matter to Delhi and will convey it to me on 20/08/14.But on the next day she went through all the formalities again and it was then passed on to one counter to other ,lastly at APO, where the officer said we dont know about this and we cannot take any action and forwarding the matter to RPO,Ahmadabad.Also said we don't know how much time it will take.
I herewith also submit you the copy of Sneha's and other passport holder's detail taken from Vadodara office for your kind consideration.
I request you to please go through this matter and please do needful for the same as early as possible because my daughter is preparing for further studies in abroad and she has to appear for exams GRE and TOEFL by September end for which passport is required as a ID Proof.
Also please I request you to take this matter as serious case as this type of mistake i came to know first time in my life.Also notice that her passport date of issue is 01/11/2007 while the other person's issue date is 21/04/2008.
I am ready to give you every possible help from my side to clear this matter as we are responsible citizen of India.
Please refer the attached enclosures and do us a favour. She require her passport as early as possible.

Dear Sir,
Passport was issue from the SURAT office ( Details Old passport no : Name Sneha Mahendrakumar Patel -P/NO: G5769148 issued from Surat office dated 01/11/2007 valid upto 31/10/2017 applied for reissue of passport at Vadodara Passport Office as matter of change of address) . That is reason for your information and as per Ahemdabad RPO From Surat report has not come yet.
Due to the mistake of passport office as while submitting reissue application THERE WAS ONTHER PERSON ALSO HAVING SAME PASSPORT NO and passport department already accepted THERE mistake, even though they are not issuing my reissue passport & I am not getting passport even after two month time.
This is for your information and enhancing for a clearance.

This passport is on our Ankleshwar address and from past 4 years we have shifted to Vadodara.As my daughter is applying for further studies she needed the passport address to be changed to our current address.So for this we booked application for change in address and we got date 19/08/2014,her application no. is AH3077994451814. At Vadodara passport office,she went through all formalities and also got her passport stamped cancelled by counter B then at counter C at last they found entering her passport number that there is one other person (male) also with the same number as her passport number.We are shocked to know this as there is no other valid ID Proof other than passport in India and how can such a blunder occur ?? They kept on hold her application on 19/08/14 also called her again next day on 20/08/14 as they said they have sent the matter to Delhi and will convey it to me on 20/08/14.But on the next day she went through all the formalities again and it was then passed on to one counter to other ,lastly at APO, where the officer said we dont know about this and we cannot take any action and forwarding the matter to RPO,Ahmadabad.Also said we don't know how much time it will take. I herewith also submit you the copy of Sneha's and other passport holder's detail taken from Vadodara office for your kind consideration. I request you to please go through this matter and please do needful for the same as early as possible because my daughter is preparing for further studies in abroad and she has to appear for exams GRE and TOEFL by September end for which passport is required as a ID Proof. Also please I request you to take this matter as serious case as this type of mistake i came to know first time in my life.Also notice that her passport date of issue is 01/11/2007 while the other person's issue date is 21/04/2008. I am ready to give you every possible help from my side to clear this matter as we are responsible citizen of India. Please refer the attached enclosures and do us a favour.
