I am collecting unemployment in the state of PA. When I signed up, I wasn't not given an option to arrange direct deposit. I had to use the ReliaCard to receive payments. I joined a FB group and saw many complaints about using the ReliaCard, restrictions. You are informed you can use it just like your personal debit card, but you can't. I transfer the deposit to my personal checking account, which will be in my account the next day. I had no issues transferring for 6 months. Last week on 4/7 I transferred it, the next day I didn't see it in my account. I called ReliaCard and was informed it takes 2-3 days. It says on the main page online as well 2-3 days for transfers. Ok, guess I have been lucky this far it only took a day. Day 3, still no money. I called ReliaCard back. I was then told in PA it takes 4-6 days. Day 6 which was a week later because of Sunday, the money shows in my account. Yeah, I pay bills, this was 4/13. On 4/14 I wake up to a text from ReliaCard app I received a deposit. HMMM, I wasn't expecting money. I was concerned it was an overpayment. It said on the App (ACH Return). I called ReliaCard, well they transfer I thought went through was now "returned" back to ReliaCard. WTH! I paid bills yesterday because it was in my account and now it was returned. Why? The manager said there was an error, stating I had to enter something wrong. I asked her what the error code was because when a return is done, it's coded why. The bank will see that internal code. I googled this before I called. She said, there is not code stating why. She was lying. Trying to blame me for the return when the fact is, it is RealiaCard fault. And I was told the transfer won't show in my account until 4/22!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I was paid 4/7. I am livid! This is BS! Now the bills I paid yesterday won't clear, I waited a week...it showed in my account...then returned...which that balance difference hasn't processed yet. I said I need you to fix this now because I will be charged fees for insufficient funds. No, I have to wait for the transfer to complete on 4/22. I am goin to file complaints wherever I can. It is mine money. This bank should not be used for unemployment. It's awful, shameful how they do business.
