Failure to unlock/remove the restriction on my account
Reliacard has failed to unlock my account by not lifting the restriction claiming to be a mere security precaution that they had placed on it last month and after a fully functional usage of the card and not a situation of three consecutive failed back to back attempted efforts. My card worked fine when they placed the lock on it. I asked the first representative that I spoke with on the matter and was told that it was just their way of going the extra mile to ensure security on behalf of my interests. That was fine with me and no big deal until after I had First Community Bank to fax the documents to verify it's me and they could only read the SS card and not the state ID card, so I uploaded the ID and a selfie as instructed. STILL LOCKED OUT. Completely unable to access my the pandemic funds dispersed to me for the purpose of maintaining the financial support of my household during a time of crisis simply because of the ReliaCard company. They are solely responsible and fully to blame for my inability to pay the bills that I have due this very day. I've held up my end and provided the necessary documentation requested of me and not only once but twice now and yet they have still failed to uphold their end of things and have not managed to do something as simple as clicking an option and/or pushing a button on a keyboard. Apparently this is not an isolated incident and my personal current situation seems to be the case nationwide as I am seeing online and as I have spoken with others. I feel like I have gone the extra mile to ensure the security of my interests and my account but ReliaCard has NOT done so and that quite possibly ReliaCard is actually the one that I need my interests protected from. I am speaking with my State Representative and an attorney about the matter and agree with so many others that a class action lawsuit should be brought against the ReliaCard company in regards to their handling of the situation and the said matter at hand.
