I loved my Remington AC9096A model until today. Without warning of defect, my hair dryer caught on fire and released an electrical charge which burned my palm and the current exited out of my thumb and index finger. I now have an electrical burn on my palm the size of a silver dollar. I don't understand why this happened, the cord was not frayed. It was all I could do to get it unplugged before it electrocuted me.
