Lost stroller

We booked our flight online weeks before our flight was scheduled to leave on December 18th, 2012, for Amsterdam, a eight our flight and checked in our baggage and stroller we were told by the Delta employee to leave the stroller at the end of the terminal as we boarded the flight. We did and the stroller was previously tagged at our arrival. We arrived at KLM at the baggage claim and acquired our luggage. An hour had passed by and I went to the KLM desk to inquire about the stroller. I was told it should of already come through the baggage claim area. I filled out a form through KLM for the lost stroller. We were given no sticker off the stroller tag to have any reference number to work with trying to locate it. KLM said after two hours that it did not arrive from Atlanta Georgia and was generous to give us a loaner stroller for our three week trip to Amsterdam and Germany.
We were set to come back to Atlanta on January 8th, 2013, when arriving to Schipol airport we went to the kiosi to print our tickets the machine did not work. We walked to the furthest end of the airport to check in and KLM would not let us check our baggage in this making us not able to board the flight. Four hours on the phone with Delta and going to the KLM help desk, we thought we successfully were booked another flight for the next day. I called Delta later that night and was placed on hold, a hour long international phone call , the booking for the flight was not valid. The previous international call that I had called Delta at the airport was a waste of time and money, no information was placed in the system for our flight. Finally we were scheduled for our flight the next day but had to pay 250.00 per person for the change, times 2. and 350.00 dollars in phone calls trying to reschedule our flight. We had to book a hotel for the extra night, dinner and train tickets to and from the hotel to the airport. We would like to be compensated for this unusual mix up that we feel was not our fault. Mind you this whole time we had a 6 month old baby with us taking back and forth and making phone calls four hours in the airport. When boarded the following day, a 10 hour flight back home, I went to the baggage claim area and spoke to a man in the department that handed me a paper to find the stroller. I felt brushed off and came home with no stroller.
