payment of loan

I have been going back and forth with RMS for about a year now. we set up a payment plan and i mail everything back to them and they claim to never get it. This a scam if ever there was one the take from SS and i pay 45 every month and they take my income tax refunds and the balance goes up instead of down

fraud

my father had a revese mortquge with rms and they told him on the phone with 6 witness standing right there that he was in default of his contract bbecause he did not pay his house insurance and that he had to move out in 60 days the person was the same wpmen that call him and stated that he better dose this loan quick because they about to quit giving out reverse mortqgue loans and that he better hurry well he said come by tomorrow and she did my father was going blind and had demeaci and as I got home aftyer work he was signing papers qwith her and I aask if he read the contract he saisd he could not read it and she said sign here I ask her if she read him the contraat and she said no but it was just normal stuff any way my father took the call serious and went to seel his house for 40 years to a local book keeper for 32 thounsand what they charge for a 15000 dollar loan any way im trying to gety this company to pay for the bull shit that was cause and they need to bee address ty

Deplorable

The woman who called me used a ruse In her message For me to call her back which I did. Once I did she was absolutely horrifique. I myself was once a debt collector and never treated a customer in the manner she treated me and was informed that I was not compliant. This conversation went on until she actually hung up on me.

rude, and harassing

I have been working with the place that I have to owe money to since it was a school. Lisa told me that I cannot work with the school cuz they hired them to do everything and that I owed everything right away. I talked to my school and they have been fine working with me as a plan to pay. I am baffled at the fact that they have tried to call everyone in my family and as to how they are getting their phone numbers as this is a breach in privacy and I never gave any consent to talk to or contact my family. I contacted her today to inform her that I am working with the school as I have already paid off 3/4s of what I owe and have it set to pay the rest in a month. She rudely told me that the calls will not stop and hung up on me.

Aarp Medicare

Sent me a letter for $30.20. Stating I owed this money. I had cancelled this insurance the previous year. The woman hung up on me. The only payment they will accept is credit card or bank account. But I do not owe this money. Very unprofessional scam artists.

No help

Communication is beyond horrible. I gave not only been left in the dark by the company I supposedly owe money to but by RMS as well. I was hung up on today simply because the man I was talking to (Jeremy) didn't have a valid answer for any of my questions.

Rms

They called me continuely one day 4 times in an hour. They threaten me with my HR director had her name in which I laughed at them because I work for a huge company. I told them if they think she is going to stop and look for me with all the employees she has and they did not even have my current name they were kidding there selves. So I tried to call them back and get their information and give it to our company paid attorneys and they said that my claim was dismissed and I had no business with them anymore and she was not giving me any information and hung up on me. But just 5 minutes earlier they were filing a claim against me but they never told me what it was for. What a joke they should not be in business.

Receivable Management Services

This company is absolutely unethical. They called our house and sent mail saying my husband owed 100.00 to First Energy (electric bill). First off my husband has never in his life not paid a bill. He is that type. The invoice from RMS Debt Collection Services was very vague when this bill occurred or even where. The invoice came from another state that we do not live in. My husband never received any notice from First Energy at all about any past due bill. He called First Energy directly and they said in fact he never had any bill past due. We filed a formal complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau online and these people are on the ball! Within a week we got results. RMS Debt Collection sent them a even more vague letter stating my husband's name was removed from their accounts. No explanation as to why it was put there to begin with. It was signed by Melanie Engberg with a phone number. So I called and she continued to be vague as to why his name was even put in their accounts.. that we owed nothing. Very strange and downright dishonest. Feels like a shakedown. If anyone has a problem with this company I strongly urge you to REPORT THEM TO CONSUMERFINACE.GOV 855-411-2372

Debt collector named RMS. These are vulture collectors attempting to sucker people into paying out-of-date bills. They NEVER pay the original creditor. Their Better Business Bureau (BBB) record reflects poor business practices. Any payment to them is a waste of money-payments are NOT reflected on your credit record. Better approach is to demand they document the debt. Since they will not be able to do this, you will then be able to challenge any negative listing with the credit reporting bureaus who are required to delete unsubstantiated line items.

They really don't care ~ they call you Monday to Sunday all hours !!! I've sent them letters and spoke with them that the Company (Verizon) reveresed the charges. Unfornately, both companies are not responding with each other at this moment and each other will not contact each other.
The RMS are unprofessional is so many way and has not learned the meaning of HARRASSMENT!!! I've even asked them kindly to stop contacting me and that didn't go over well & they still call more than 3x a day and right after the other. I've had to even block their #'s !!!

Bad service

I contacted Sprint in regards to a past due bill amount of $776 with them and I couldn't pay it right at that moment. So I was transferred to this "other dept" that would allow me to break the payments into three. I made the arrangements with that "dept" and thought that was the end of it. When the third payment was taken out of my account all under Sprint in my bank account I waited three days and the service was still not restored. So I called Sprint to see if there was an issue and I was informed that my last payment wasn't posted. I assured the Sprint CSR that the last payment was automatically deducted from my account on the agreed upon date. Then she told me that I needed to speak to "another dept" to clear it up. When I was transferred and the other CSR picked up the phone she wanted my account number so I gave her my phone Sprint number. Then she informed me that the number wouldn't work and wanted to know how my account was pulled up originally. I told her that it was two months ago and I have no idea how they would have pulled up the account. All the time I am starting to feel uneasy because am I not talking to Sprint? I did ask the CSR at that time and she informed me that they were a collection agency and the person that I had been dealing with was not in to make the posting. I informed her that I spoke to someone only once when I made the payments arrangements and I thought I was speaking to a Sprint representative. She told me that Sprint adjusted my account by $9 and a few cents and that was preventing my phone from being turned on. I had to pay the $9 first before service could be restored. I called Sprint back to make the payment and was informed that I still owed $299 and service would not be restored until that amount was paid. I told Sprint that I made the last payment and the amount was already removed from my account and they said that RMS hadn't posted it as yet. I called RMS back and got the rudest CSR I have ever dealt with. Not only was she not inclined to help but she was mocking me and wanted to know how I could make payment arrangements with someone when I didn't even know who they were. I told her Sprint transferred me to them and I stupidly assumed that they were Sprint. When I asked why my last payment wasn't yet applied I was told because it takes three days for them to post it to their system. When I asked why does it take three days she told me "because that's how long it takes and she had other clients to get to". I promptly hung up and waited a few minutes to call back, hoping to get a supervisor that could shed some light on when the amount would be posted, so I could have an idea when the service would be restored. The next CSR (Christine) was even ruder than the first and informed me that I had just called in and she wasn't transferring me to a supervisor before she knew what I wanted. When I explained to her that I didn't even know until now that they weren't Sprint and I was try to find out what the client confirmation number was so that I could provide it to sprint she informed me that "she wasn't going to go through the trouble of looking it up and it wouldn't do any good anyway. Plus if I had the service off for so long a few more days shouldn't matter and she had other customers to get to..." I just want to warn others what dealing with both Sprint and RMS is like. This is a nightmare and all they are doing is making a bad situation worse. All I set off to do was pay off my debt and restore my service.
