Fraudulant deposit
I bought a ML350 Vin: WDC1660242A132177 from Rola Motors Summerset West. The next day on our way home to Polokwane we experienced problems with the vehicle. We reported the problem to MBSA,they loaded the vehicle onto a rollback and took it to Cargo Motors M2 City, our service history indicates that the vehicle was at their workshop on 25/7/2016.A techincian informed us that there was a oil leak between the Turbo and intercooler, and showed us the fanbelt which was saturated with oil, certain expantion tank oil seals above the fanbelt were also changed. We had to take the vehicle to Mercurius for subsequent oil leaks between the turbo and inter cooler,on each occasion Rola Motors Summerset West was informed. We requested Stan Hoelson the salesman we were not happy with the ML350.He informed us that as soon as there becomes available a ML350 in their group he would notify us.Approx 3 months passed when he contacted us,informing us that there was not a ML 350 avaiable, and whether we would accept a ML400, which we reluctantly agreed on.We both are pensioners and are not familiar with vehicle trade inns and financing. When the sales contract was drawn up we questioned the very high balloon payment of R220000,there was no balloon payment onthe previous ML350,we were told the balloon payment was a requirement,or else the finance would be declined.Under no circumstances whatsoever did we agree that the ML350 would be traded in on the ML400,we were under the impression that the deal was a internal matter of Rola Motors,we did not sign the offer to purchase dated 25/10/2016.The deposit of our origional trade inns were R338000,and then dropped to R273000,this action borders on fraud,PLEASE INVESTIGATE.Tx P A Kruger
