Refusing refund

Went to Ross yesterday to return a phone charger and coffee mug I Had bought. Got a refund on the charger since it didn't fit my phone. The Coleman coffee mug leaked. I had soaked it to get all five sticker tags off poured coffee and it leaked. They wouldn't take it back because I had washed it. The Islamic Muslim cashier and LP Mgr said it was the law. I said the law of what? I'm 62 and don't need a Muslim telling me what the laws are of the US. Both stores in Euless only hire Muslims. Trust me Ross is not the only store in the Dallas, Fort Worth area. I have gone to Ross forever but no more. I've owned alot of businesses in my life time. If I had a customer that bought damaged goods and knowing them , yes I would give their money back but since I took the tags off no go. Like they are going to put it back on the shelves? No more Muslin only store for me.

Bait and Switch

Just back from my neighborhood Roses. My Mother-in-law is visiting and we wanted to put a TV in her room. The cable guy was due any minute to hook it up. I liked the 32 inch Sanyo on display and the sales person said they had it in stock. The TV was placed at the register on a counter behind the cashier so my first physical contact with it was after I purchased it. An agitated gentleman behind me in line was there returning an air conditioner that he said wasn't what he thought he'd purchased. I checked my box to discover that my television was not a Sanyo but a brand I'd never heard of. I asked for an immediate refund. The sales person said that it was all they had in stock. I reminded her that she'd just told me the Sanyo model on the shelf was what they had in stock. She had no response. Another employee asked, "Did you open the box?" I informed her that I hadn't left the premises since purchasing the TV and that the box was still sealed. She opened it, advising me to wait until I knew for sure that it wasn't a Sanyo. It wasn't. I'll be watching to make sure my money is put back on my card.

Roses Department Store

I just want like to know how CAN THE DEPARTMENT STORE ON ROSES SELL RECYCLE OR REUSED ELECTRONICS FOR FULL PRICE !! IT SEEMS TO ME THAT TELEVISIONS THAT THEY ARE SELLING WHOLE FULL PRICE SHOULD BE HALF PRICE IF THERE BEEN WORKED ON !! HOW CAN IT BE POSSIBLE THIS IS GOING A WAY WITH THIS ! I WANT TO ROSES TO BUY A 55 INCH TV THAT I THOUGHT WAS BRAND NEW BECAUSE THE PRICE WAS 400 SOME DOLLARS !!! TO REALIZE THAT IT WAS RECYCLED OR REPAIRED AND BROUGHT TO THEIR STORES TO SELL , HAS FULL PRICE !!! I KNOW IT'S FULL PRICE BECAUSE I HAVE WENT TO WALMART AND OTHER STORES AND THEIR PRICES ARE LOWER THAN ROSES DEPARTMENT STORE !!! YOU KNOW IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT THAT'S LIKE CAN I USE CAR AND I KNOW IF MY BREAK DOWN TWO DAYS AFTER YOU BUY IT!!!!WITH A 30-DAY . WARRANTY . I HAVE PHOTO OF TELEVISION FROM ROSES BEFORE IN START WORKING WITHIN 6 MONTHS !!!! NOW I KNOW WHY !!!! I DO BELIEVE I SHOULD BE REFUNDED FOR THE FIRST TV LOST !!! THAT WAS TWO YEARS AGO !! IF WHAT WAS THIS WAS, STILL SEND ME A NEW TV ON THE TV I BROUGHT TWO YEARS AGO FROM THERE . WATCH IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HALF PRICE !!! NO ? !!! MY. Outdoor furniture

On July 17, 2017 I purchased a gazebo outdoor tent with a net that goes around it. The when I went to put the tent up, one of the arms to the top of the gazebo would not stay down nor keep the top part of the tent closed. When I went to try and fix it the arm broke. Now, for something that I paid $99.99 for, I expected for it to be a lot more sturdy that it was. When I tried to take it back, they told no I couldn't even exchange it because it was broken.......how is that my fault when all I did was follow the directions to put the darn thing up!!! I will never in my life shop at Roses again and I will make sure to tell everyone I know and everyone I don't know not to shop at this store!!! I'm out of $100.00 because of a tent they had to have known was not a good quality tent so why was it that much to begin with? It shouldn't broken that easily!!!

Return policy

On May 15 I purchased 6 bras in different colors for $5 each. The way they were secured to hanger and with tags you couldn't try one on. I went home that afternoon and took one of hanger to try on. I didn't have it on for a minute. It didn't fit. I had my receipt and 5 of the bras had not been touched. The very next day, 20 hours later I returned to store to get refund or in store credit as I had planned to purchase some outdoor items. When I got to register to return the cashier and asst mgr said no return credit or in store credit as they were undergarments. She pointed to a SMALL sign, that there was no refund on swimwear and undergarments. I asked why there was no sign at register or why cashier did not mention it. She pointed to the sign. I said it is VERY obvious that these items are NEW and not worn. Both reps were very adamant. I told them they could keep all items I was going to purchase and I will NEVER shop at a Roses again for anything.

refused to exchange a shaper slip

I have patronized Roses Department for many years. before shopping in Roses, my shopping was done at Maxway store; so, to say the least I have been a faithful customer to the business. Today was a shocker when I went back to the store to return a slip Shaper, and was told it could not be exchanged, nor could I get my refund back. I asked the cashier whats the different trying on at home and returning the item back, or trying on in the store. I was told we cannot make an exchange. Most all stores make exchanges with receipts, but your policy seems to be different because most stores exchange swim wear and that`s very close to the body. I do expect to hear from someone soon in regards to this matter. The merchandise was purchased March 25, 2017 at 18:11;32 taken back March 25, 2017 at 20:13.

restrooms

This Roses has restrooms for the public, n today I go in and signs are up saying restrooms cant be used, my question is are they broken, n they say no but somebody messed it up for everybody, not knowing what she meant, but my thing is if theres something wrong with the restrooms, fix it n let people use the restrooms, because people have kids, the elderly, have to go to the restrooms, n they are for the public,,, please can someone contact me regarding this matter in the Kannapolis, NC store..Thank You

Unfair advertising/ item pricing horribly wrong

5 times I have gone in to the location at Mendenhall Commons. (MENDENHALL and WINCHESTER) in Memphis, Tn. I would spend hours looking over items to get the best dealjust to be told after standing in line for 15 or more minutes that it is not the price of my item!!!! I'm fed up!!! A whole rack of items priced at $3.00 ...at the register, it miraculously becomes $13.99 when rung up! TWICE my Layaway totally disapeared into the ether, items that I spent hours trying on to ensure a proper fit, placed them in the layaway...5 days later go and pick them up and 4 of 6 items have now become petite and small instead of the 1 and 2 x apparel that I took pictures of in the dressing room in order to get my besties opionions!!!
OWNERS COME CHECK ON YOUR STORE!!!!!!
THERE ARE VERY SHODDY, SHIFTY, and UNSAVORY PRACTICES GOING ON!!!!!
Today I picked out the cutest little clutch bag... $3.99 became 13.99 at checkout...same thing...Cashier told me that they didn't put the tags on their items. That "SOMEONE left the "1" off" I am sooooo disapointed with my experiences that I can't in good faith recommend the store anymore.

Layaway

I went to get my layaway out and the women said that they had put it back on the shelves without calling to inform me that I missed one payment and when I asked for my money back she said they had to keep the $10.00 for putting it back on the shelves I don't have money run across me a lot that's why it was on layaway in the first place in my book that is highway robbery I WILL NEVER be back to roses in Lexington nc EVER again
