racist management CORINA SANFORD

CORINA SANFORD is a racist manager of Richardson .tx 1261 location. she always treats customer unfairly and takes side only her friends. she never give employee breaks and use "F"" words to the employees who is older she is not even respect them . even this is happening long time but management takes side of her.

Treated unfairly

The assistant manager Alejandra is very unfair with some of us. She is always taking me hours off. The other day I had to work and told me that to don't go because she didn't have money to pay me. Another day they've send me home because it was raining i was working at the fitting room and they just put someone else their and told me to go. I am a part time and this week Alejandra just gave me like 20 hours for this two weeks. I think you should tell them that all part timers should get the exact hours the same. Not the preferable ones their friends. We need assistant managers that are professional and that treat us equally . Not bully managers. Even her accent that she give us is unprofessional.

Hit on the top of my head with two following lampshades

To Ross I was shopping at your Port Hueneme store on April 3 2018 around 1:30 in the afternoon I was on the back aisle I’not paying attention to the top shelf of the aisle walked by with the basket and the long pole on the basket that you have on your shopping cart so you can’t take the shopping cart out of the store got caught onto two lampshades because the lampshades must’ve been sticking halfway off the shelf and two of them came down on my head the metal part hit my head and and I didn’t know what hit me but all due to the shopping cart with the pole on it I let Security know that two lampshades hit me in the head and also the cashier just letting you know that those shopping carts with the poles on them are dangerous.

Suspicious activity not addressed

AN alertline tip was given twice to the Ross Stores line available. ( 2-3 months ago) Nothing has been addressed. There was an issue with a team of "scam" professionals, who extort false paychecks using employees names, steal merchandise using the managers and employees to help by leaving the doors open, locks not locked or have merchandise put outside at night. I have turned the information to the legal authorities in the state and the FBI to look into. This is a serious group who uses threats, physical harassment, bribes to mgr.'s of up to $7,500 cash or trips ( airline) to get "into" to the stores to use them. I found out that not only my name was used as a false employee at another store but up to as many as twenty times in three states. My Mgr.did not seem to be cooperating with the standards as designated by the "trust" values on the employee break room wall.

Animals in store

Sunday, February 5, 2017 there were animals in Ross. Small dog but still animal. The dog smelled a lot. And barked. Dogs pee and poop. I wonder if you have dog pee and poop around the clothes, food items and other products you sell. What about safety? There is a sign on the store entrance door that says no pets. Ross sales edible items for human consumption usually (according to the board of health) animals are not allowed where food is sold. The only exception is fir service animals. This was not a service dog. The store security said small animals were allowef.Nbc

Treated Unfairly

I have been working at ross for 7 months and I have never called out for work or anything. But the first time I do the manager wants me to fill out a form for not following the schedule. But other employees that haven't been there longer than me does this every day. I feel like the manager shouldn't be in charge.

Unfair Treatment and hours

I have worked for Ross since December i have been breaking my back and working myself sick because of lack of rest just trying to obtain enough hours to survive working in this place. When i was hired i was "guaranteed" at least 20 hours a week and unless I just sit by my phone to wait for them to call me in. I only get scheduled for 0-8 hours a week when I am open to work at anytime, and I had even looked at other employees hours and the managers get the hours while the part-timers are scraping the bottom of the barrel. They do not schedule enough people to recover the store I have had to do it five times by myself and i get criticized for not doing it "fast" enough. The one time they schedule enough people to get the store done by the correct time the management places all but one in the stock room which has no room to successfully empty the boxes and run the items in the allotted time. We are forced to stay there until the manager wants to leave and if the store does not look "up to code" its always the same person who is blamed and then is forced to do everyone else's job while they walk around high. The managers talk badly about all there employees and always tell them how slow or how bad they are at there job and if we try to say anything we are terminated. The "alert line" that we have for management complaints is one sided they only take the side of the managers and you are out of luck if you expect them to do anything. Please do yourself a favor do not work for this company and to current employees we need to unionize this corporation until they give fair treatment, hours , and a pay that we can live on.
