Received a $100 complimentary gift card in the mail from SAMs club for being a 25 yr member! Which I was not expecting so I was very pleased to be shown "appreciation" for being a "LOYAL MEMBER"! The only problem was I couldn't get it to activated. I went into my local SAMs club yet they said they couldn't help me. They told me to call 1-888-746-7726 and a SAMs club team member would be able to assist me and solve my problem. That "sounded" simple enough, no big deal? Well I was wrong it has been 5 weeks of calling every "3-5 days"!!!! It has got to a point I am so very aggravated due to the unprofessional supervisors I have dealt with! They have made promises, said I would receive a personal call back within the hour, guaranteed they could fix my problem no later than a day or two and if it wasn't solved I was told they would issue a complimentary E-gift card due to the fact I had called about 4 different days and spoke with "the supervisor" every time it was a different person and never received a reference number. I have been given names, extensions, email addresses etc. and haven't been able to contact anyone I had previously spoke to. I was told it was impossible to find those SUPERVISORS. I was also informed that with that one 18887467726 number that it would at random transfer you to different offices in different states! I just don't understand why SAMs is being ran by unprofessional customer service! I couldn't imagine the aggravation someone would have if they actually purchased the gift card experienced the same problem and could get assisted in fixing it! It was complimentary so it shouldn't be a big deal I should just say oh well too bad. But that would have been an option 5 weeks ago, 15 phone calls earlier and several emails ago. But considering that I was just put on a wild goose chase and every time I contacted them even after I had refrence number to give it was treated like the very first time I called about the issue I had to explain the situation from the very beginning and was then put through the same pattern of put on hold while they contact other departments then after a very long wait on hold while expecting the representative/ supervisor to say the exact same thing as the others "what's a good call back number for you I will get right back with you as soon as I get a reply/answer" then they go on to tell me that the last supervisor I spoke with told me solutions that weren't an option for them and that their was no way for that person to fix my problem that way. But today after 5 weeks I am told something a little different that really upset me! I was told this is nothing that they can solve or try to solve by me calling them that there is no possible way that I must go into my LOCAL SAMS CLUB!! Are you serious? Literally I'm getting sent back to where I started! With as many answers as I started with! My aggravation is from me sitting here thinking 5 WEEKS ABOUT IF NOT MORE THAN 15 calls some lasting 30 minutes at the least up to 2 or more hours a CALL then the many emails!
