I would like to bring to your kind notice a complaint against Hotspot Spice store located at Mall Of India Noida. I purchased a Samsung S8plus on 6th July 2017 with an insurance covering all sort of damages by paying extra 7000 Rs. I was convinced of best of its services and was promised that any damage to it would be attended without any extra penny and hassle from my end. They would arrange for the phone to picked from my residence the moment I lodge a complaint.

But surprisingly when the phone was accidently damaged and screen was ruptured, I contacted them and they said that the insurance guy is not available after 8 PM. I was made to pay visits and was given a number to call and when questioned the name of the insurer even the sales person who sold the phone, had no idea. Then after lot of persuasion I got to know that I was made to be covered by Gadgetsecure Cops. No policy documents were given stating that the cover would be sent to my mail ID, which never came through. Thankfully the policy No. was mentioned on the invoice which has saved me.

I tried repeatedly calling the customer care number of the insurer but no once picked the call. After long struggle at last a call back was arranged after I sent mails raising the concern and visiting Hotspot store at Mall of India. But till date issue is not resolved. Damaged phone is still with me, with no one helping me. The representative who called stated that they would send a mail at my e-mail address outlining all the details and I need to revert to it with the documents such as PAN card copy, repair estimate which I should go to Samsung service centre and seek., I really pity my stupidity of believing the Hotspot guys.

Please look into it and assist.
