I'm trying to find out if anyone knows how long SBTP will actually hold the funds when they claim they are sending them back to the IRS?
Ive been playing this game with them already regarding my refund that was rejected by my bank and so called was mailed a check. Eleven business days passed and I was told if the Check never arrived they can reissue another but when I called today to request the new check it says that the money is going to be sent back to the IRS because of unusual account activity. Me calling to track the check down is unusual activity? I'm so stressed out and confused.
Does anyone know how long they may keep it and if they do send it back to the IRS fast, what is the turn around there.
I will be looking into ways to get the media involved and the word out more about what this bank is doing.
