Sears Kenmore Elite (LG) Refigerator Failures

Bought Sears Kenmore Elite refrigerator in November 2015. Failed after 6 days. Sears did provide replacement after we lost all food and lived out of ice chests for a week. The replacement worked for 34 months and on September 27, 2018, failed again. As of today November 9, 2018, we have had five service calls. Technicians first ordered wrong parts (twice) then on third visit determined it was just one bad blower motor, ordered. On forth visit tech installed new blower motor and left - error codes started appearing and no cooling. Fifth visit from tech on November 7 who told us main electronic board bad AND (now) the compressor was bad. Ordered new parts and indicated when he returned (for sixth visit) he would bring all new parts and replace everything needed. This is day #44 without our $3200 refrigerator. Living out of small rental in garage - inaccessible by elderly mother-in-law using walker. No idea when visit #6 will occur. Talked to Sears support and Customer Solutions (all in India) many times - totally useless. Talked to three managers at Sears stores where we purchased - first two talked about getting a replacement but they ended up just calling Factory Service office and asking them to send a better technician. We have spent over $5000 on Sears appliances and bedding in last three years - NEVER AGAIN. Done with Sears. And don't let them tell you they went bankrupt because of bad investments - they went bankrupt because of their horrendous treatment of customers and resulting drop in sales - too dumb to even understand. NEVER BUY SEARS - NEVER BUY LG. Lessons learned. Now, I'm going out to the ice cold garage to get some dinner.
