I received an email touting sears promotion offer of now interest on purchase if paid in a 12 month period. I activated this offer and got a new email stating "Reminder, your special financing offer is ready to use" this email was on 3/22/18. I then made a large purchase only because of this promotion. Now I read the fine print and the offer doesn't begin until April 1st. A call to Sears customer service was gee I'm sorry you've been a customer for 30 years but too bad you screwed up. we can't help you.
I acknowledge the info was included but you sent me an email on 3/22 saying my offer was ready to use in BIG BOLD LETTERS.
I will never set foot in sears or use a mastercard again due to the inability to take care of your long time customer. Too bad for you sears, YOU screwed up!

I've had a rough past 2 years but I keep on trying because my faith in the Lord is strong. My late husband was USA Ret. Army (almost 28 yrs) & he died from Inoperable Cancer due to Agent Orange (he has quite a few diagnosed Agent Orange diseases after being in Vietnam as a Medic twice. He also was a NN Corr. Officer. And I am still very proud of what he accomplished. I'm writing because 5/5/14 I had double mastectomy due to aggressive DCIS in right breast & then lung collapse to just barely survive the disease Stevens Johnson Disease (I'm one of the few that beat that). Then left knee being eaten by Arthritis. Finally had the surgery on 7/19 & ended up with complications due to medication. I am all alone trying to take care of everything & I don't complain. Had mail stopped because no 1 to get it and got out of rehab & going thru all this mail & paying bills I missed (have to go there anytime I have surgery because I have no 1 to help me). Out of everyone I owe, Sears is the only company that was not sympathetic to my situation; I don't care what was done in past, I am dealing with the now & I had to have surgery or continue to crawl up & down my stairs. Since Sears refused to remove $27 late fee, with my good record of paying on time for over 20 yrs. I closed my acct today. You may not care that I did but I had to let you know that I still have a long way to go in my healing & I don't want to keep anyone around that will cause me to be upset where I am unable to heal, and staying with Sears after 20 some odd yrs. and my late husband much longer than that. I am shredding up my Credit Card with Sears & I have many military friends that I am going to let them know only 1 company treating me as if I could control having to go to surgery & the other unfortunate things that happened to me that I am trying now to get well from.
Money was in my accts @ my Credit Union just not able to pay nearly everyone of my debtors until I got out and able to do on my own.
