I bought a stackable washer, Kenmore Acela. The men delivered it but told me they couldn't install it because I did not have mounting brackets. They left the new washer in my back hall. I went to Sears the next day to buy mounting brackets- they did not have them in stock- had to wait 5 days and drive 20 miles to get them. Called to reschedule the installation and haul-away of old washer- and the next available appointment was over a week away (I am leaving country in a week). I agreed to the date and rearranged my plans. I received an email 3 days before delivery saying the delivery had been rescheduled to a date later in the week! I called and complained and demanded to speak to a supervisor. Finally they agreed to keep the original appt. So the guys just showed up and took one look and said- "we cannot touch, move, hook up the old dryer" They said because it is old and they did not deliver it, so they will be libel for damage. I explained that the last delivery guys DID NOT say that because if they had, I would've returned it o the spot. So here I am 3 weeks later with a new washing machine sitting in my back hall and Sears refuses to install it.
