washing machine rust corrosion

I purchased a brand new Kenmore Elite Washing Machine in 2014. In January 2018, rust began showing up around the bleach dispenser and the lid of the machine. Each week it seemed the rust began showing itself more and more. On Friday (2/23/18) I opened the lid on the machine and there was big clumps of rust sitting in the barrel of the machine. Upon further insepection, I noticed the bleach dispenser plastic part was loose. As I took it out, I found the entire inside of the machine rusted and the plastic interior piece of the dispenser no longer anchored in place.

Here's the best part--I don't believe I have ever used bleach in the dispenser. One of my children has an allergy to bleach. Ive never poured anything into that dispenser. Since the corrosion started from the inside out, I hope that Sears is making good on its repairs.

I hope to hear from someone from Sears to remedy this situation.

Work boots sole disintegrates

Sears Diehard work boots style 84101, rubber on the soles and heals are disintegrating. Had the boots for about a year but only wore them about 20 times before the soles started to disintegrate. Went to Sears and talked to 3 different assistant managers, they would not do anything, because they are over 90 days old and out of warranty. Would not give me a discount on a new pair. 50 percent of the bottom of the boots are gone now and I leave a trail of rubber pieces when I walk, but I'm stuck with them now because I threw my old boots away. Do Not Buy From Sears, they do not stand behind their inferior quality merchandise.

Customer Service

My husband and I purchase a 10,000 furnace for our home in January 2012, low and behold Sandy hit. The furnace was in a safe behind the closet and well-ventilated store room. Once we had power back we telephoned customer service to be sure the boiler was cleaned and functioning correctly after 2 weeks of inactivity. The service man arrived (rudest man on earth) walked down the stairs and declared the furnace defective due to flood damage. Wouldn't listen went out to the truck called it in and Sears cancelled our warranty and service contract, then had the audacity to have a salesman call our home to see if we wanted to purchase a new boiler/furnace. Instead of assisting us during one of the worst natural disasters, they were trying to profit.

I will NEVER EVER purchase anything from Sears for as long as I live.
