I am extremely upset about my horrible experience trying to get my refund from an order I placed online with sears.com on the date of: 5-2-16 for some urgently needed tires, the total price was: $205.12 - That included the shipping price of 33.99 and a delivery date of: By May 9th. I had even received an email confirmation of that order and the shipping date. But when I called Sears on May 9th to confirm that my tires would be arriving that day, they told me that they never processed my order because it was a website glitch, and tires cant be shipped to home. I told them that was the only option that it gave me when I ordered, it said the order could not be picked up at store because item was not available at any store location within a 50 mile radius, and only gave me the option to ship to my home, but they insisted that it was a problem with the website and they can’t legally ship tires out to customers - I asked them why I was not notified about that after I placed the order, and why did they take my money and then not even refund it! They could not give me any answers on that - But they told me they would process my refund immediately and I would have it back in my account within 48 hours (by May 11th). So on May 11th I checked to see if I had the refund, but it was not refunded. Since then, I have been calling Sears trying to get my refund, but they have been just giving me the runaround - One Sears representative looked it up and said my order was still showing as “processing”, she said they failed to even cancel it, so it was wrongly left noted as processing, so no refund was ever even started! She then transferred me to another dept., and that person was extremely rude and told me there was nothing he could do! So I told him to put a manager on the phone, he said there was none available but he would have one call me later that day when available - That was last week and I never received a call! I have also sent emails to Sears explaining the situation and how I urgently need my refund so I can go buy those tires, and I need it right away because my son is driving to and from work daily with bald tires, and now one keeps going flat - This is a danger to him, and we have no money to buy him tires until Sears refunds my money that they kept for that order, which they canceled and refused to fulfill! It has now been over 2 weeks since I placed that order, and over a week since they told me they were refunding my money, but there STILL has been NO REFUND YET! This has been causing an extreme amount of stress and they are preventing my son from getting his urgently needed tires by neglecting to refund my money! We had planned on those tires being here by May 9th, as the order had confirmed - Now we can’t even purchase tires without that refund, and NO ONE at Sears has done anything to get my money refunded! They cancelled my order and kept my money! I urgently need that refund from Sears and they are doing nothing to get it to me!
