In early August I purchased Gucci frames which arrived over one month later. As I needed glasses urgently, and had waited for quite some time for the frames, I had lenses made but only after the lenses were inserted, and I put the frames on, did it come to light that the frames were totally skewed. It was clear that the item I had purchased was either a reject from the manufacturer or not a Gucci item at all. As I have bought Gucci frames before from a reputable optician, I believe that the frames are not originals. The issue I raised with Secret Sales is that their site is misleading. If they are selling seconds, they should state this on their site so that the consumer can make an informed choice. To my complaint, they asked to see a picture, despite the fact that I had explained that the frames had been manipulated by the optician to make them wearable and they offered 10% off my next purchase. As if I would use such a suspect site again! I urge other consumers to purchase from this site with extreme caution. I have made an expensive mistake.
