Sedgwick insurances practices should be unlawful. I’m appalled my employer offers their services, if I knew better, I would have never signed on with them. My condition went from minor to acute and getting worse and worse, meanwhile they taking their sweet time to send me to mediocre physicians with no specializations in my condition. This type of treatments and practices of injured workers , can cause anyone to loose their mind and life over this . I’m hanging in by a thread , I’m trying to fight for my rights but don’t know what I’m going to do next , I’m too tired and my condition is getting worse, it scares me .

In the 1980s I was awarded lifetime medical for the lower back injuries is sustained while working for Pacific Bell. The pain was torture and I tried everything to get relief. I could have taken a very large payment, but wanted the lifetime medical coverage instead.
For years I had no problem getting care. I was willing to do just about everything to get better. Surgery helped and regular chiropractic care (once a week) helped as well. My physically abilities were still limited, but at least the bad pain was gone. Suddenly, without notice, the workman's comp coverage dried up. My bills didn't get paid. From then on getting anything approved was far too much trouble. Communications were awful. I finally gave up trying while knowing that I'd fight for the coverage I was awarded.
A year or two ago my coverage provider switched to Sedgwick. I was not notified. Then my feet started getting numb if I drove for too long or stood in place for too long. Contacting Sedgwick was a nightmare. My alleged agent changed several times and none of them ever contacted me. When I called them they were never available. I was forced to leave phone messages. It took me over a year just to get my claim number. Have not been able to use it yet as my phone calls to get needed referals are not being returned as I try in vain to make an appointment with a provider on their list. It seems that Sedgwick's goal is to make everything difficult enough to make people like me give up. I suffered far too much to do that. My sedgwick claim number is WC648079377.

Sedgwick has taken away 2 doctors within a 3 months. They've taken 7 doctor in total. Plus they're not forwarding my medical records to the doctors I choose. I called and called with no response. I decided to call the doctor to see if they looked at them. They said we just got the records, after 2 months. 3 months later I called the doctor again and they said we saw them a month ago, didn't your adjuster(Brittny)Hart)tell you? They've taken 7 doctors away. I believe there trying to frustrate me to where I just give up and settle. The adjuster said I should only should be seen 3 times Every doctor said I should stick to what works. They are trying to stop me from being seen monthly. I need my meds monthly. I haven't been by a doctor since. February. I told the adjuster why don't you choose a doctor you can approve. She said no you need to find one on your own, I would appreciate any advice on how to handle my situation. Thanks again

Like many others who have been denied benefits because of Sedgwick's arrogance, I too have been denied benefits by Sedgwick. This is business as usual for Sedgwick. I too suffered a work related injury only to be denied my legal rights to have my injury addressed in a responsible manner, again by Sedgwick. Sedgwick's intent is twofold: (1) to discredit the individuals account as to how they got injured and (2) to exonerate Sedgwick and the employer of any responsibility and accountability, both of which Sedgwick and the employer have none. This does not bother me in the least because I expected that irresponsible behavior from Sedgwick. I served as a Navy Corpsman 3 times in Iraq and once in Afghanistan. I had a $250,000.00 bounty on my head. I have NO fear of Sedgwick. For Sedgwick to deny me my rights is merely Sedgwick setting themselves up for failure. I have hired an attorney who has an unbelievable success rate in dealing with low life scum such as Sedgwick. Anyone who is affected by Sedgwick should find comfort in knowing we, my attorney and I, are in the process of filing a class action lawsuit against Sedgwick. Additionally I will be exposing them through the media such as tv. Sedgwick's ongoing history of their inept ability to acknowledge their responsibilities via incompetent case workers is going to be their downfall. Sedgwick really should take notice of the words of Sir Walter Scott, "oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive." I am very excited about Sedgwick being served notice of the lawsuit coming their way. I strongly encourage anyone affected by Sedgwick do the same. You have EVERY RIGHT to stand up against scum like Sedgwick. The only common denominator with Sedgwick and the lawsuits they face, is Sedgwick themselves.

I was given wrong information on how to handle my workers comp case and was fired for no call no show. Only while consulting with a lawyer did I find that I was not able to leave when my hand started hurting again without the Dr.'s permission.

Since I am not suing my Employer (APPLE INC) but their contractor that handles their sick/disability claims, is that now possible?

Can i sue and if so I NEED a GREAT lawyer. Not just sue but have a great chance at winning.
