Sedgwick Is Evil

I was injured on the job after my physical disability was ignored by my supervisor. It took two weeks before I was able to see a doctor. And the only treatment given was addictive pain killing drugs. At one of my appointments, the doctor told me that the job and Sedgwick told them to close out my case. Mind you I was not approved to go to physical therapy or see an orthopaedic as the regular doctor suggested. Sedgwick adjuster Courtney Bryd has never taken an initial statement from me concerning my injury. And when my injuries, the harassment, and retaliation forced me to resign from my job; the job told unemployment that I had previous injuries which was a down right lie. The nurse with Sedgwick -Vivian Tran even told me that it was my fault that I am only prescribed pain medication from the doctor. What? Really! This is a joke right? Then the nurse even became disgruntle over the phone with me saying that I went to an unauthorized radiology facility when they are the ones who sent my information to the facility and gave them authorization for the scanning. I've never contacted the radiology people, but they contacted me at the approval of Sedgwick. This company is ridiculous and needs to be shut down. MOF: a class act suite needs to be filed against them. This is the most disturbing company I have ever had to engage with, but it appears that most company's employee their service because it is cheap labor. However, injured employees should NEVER have to suffer and struggle after a work-related injury especially if company's follow OSHA guidelines and hire competent and skilled workers including management. Just with my personal experience with Sedgwick, this is one of the worst companies in this country and any one working for them have no morals, values, let alone value life and the American dream. Sedgwick employees can never be reached via telephone. You can call and leave dozens of messages and they still will not return your call; and its management is no better than its workers because they too do not return phone calls. Surely the case workers and nurses are a direct reflection of Sedgwick's management and operation team. Very Sad. Bad Business. Hateful and unhappy people. Future: NEVER work for a company that employees Sedgwick to handle their work related injuries or any other matter. Learn to interview your potential employer and report all unsafe practices to your local OSHA office. This will help shut Sedgwick down when they don't have any cases to manage.

Myself

I have a lower back injury which is keeping me from performing my job at Walmart. Sedgwick approved my leave but not my disability pay. My doctor has gone above and beyond to get them the office "notes" they want and it's never enough. The bottom line is they never had any intention of paying me and should have just told me that in the first place. I don't know how anyone can work for this company and sleep at night. I have worked for Walmart for 27 years. I always felt that if I couldn't work due to an injury or illness I would have disability insurance to help. I sure was dumb for thinking that. Sedgwick is a very crooked company!
