Changing dates of claim
This company is one of the worst I've ever had to deal with. I missed a day of work from being ill, so I contacted Sedgwick to start my FMLA claim and once I received the paperwork sent it to my doctor. I never received anything call or anything from Sedgwick telling me they hadn't received my paperwork until well after the due date. My doctor was at a week long convention and then my doc's nurse fell ill with the flu, so my paperwork was 3 days late because of this. The nurse called Sedgwick and explained why it was late and she even sent a letter explaining why but this wasn't good enough for them. Everyone I talked to was extremely rude and not cooperative at all. The day caused me an unexcused fmla day and 30 days off. This is a horrible company and I feel something needs to be done because they treat people like crap!!
