Home Depot damage to my truck

I rented a sod cutter from Home Depot on 5/18/18. When Home Depot employee ran the sod cutter up the ramp and into the bed of my pickup, the cutter malfunctioned and 'took off' and rammed into the front of my bed, almost taking out my windows. It left a dent in my bed and now I am unable to put my canopy back on as a result. Home Depot apologized and wouldn't let me rent the sod cutter as a result. They filled out paperwork for Sedwick to get in contact with me. I have a claim number, but Sedwick will not respond to my calls, and it has been over a month. Home Depot won't do anything for me. I may have to pay out of my own pocket (deductible) to get this fixed and let insurance companies to battle it out. This is a big inconvenience for me as I have just spent all my extra money sending financial help to my daughter who is undergoing chemotherapy at this time. I don't mind waiting, but I do want to put my canopy back on my truck. Come on Home Depot or Sedwick, this could have been worse.

Faulty Roof/lack of response/unethical practices

My entire home was destroyed by a faulty roof that Home Depot installed in 2011. They have been sending me on "fools errands" for a year and a half. When I contacted Home Depot, I was instructed to call Sedgwick Claims management to file a claim. That was February of 2015. Sedgwick lied to me and told me that it was GAF's responsibility and that I should contact them. I contacted GAF, who in turn sent me back to Home Depot and Sedgwick. Home Depot sent out an incompetent field supervisor who told me - in August of 2015 - that my roof damage was due to an ice damn and that "acts of god are not covered by Sedgwick or Home Depot". I was "astonished" that he was psychic and knew in August and 80 degrees, that my roof suffered ice damage. He never inspected my roof, took a few photos of the extensive damage in my house and then told me that he would generate a report to Sedgwick and that I would hear back in 6 to 8 weeks. After several months of no correspondence from either Sedgwick or Home Depot, I contacted both companies. I spoke with the field supervisors manager, only to be yelled at and told that the field supervisor did his job and that I, the consumer who spent nearly 18k on my Home Depot Roof, had been lying about the damage. It is now the end of March 2016 and I still have received a few voice messages from April Belanger, apparently she is a claims rep at Sedgwick. She leaves smarmy, completely uninformative messages, no details, no good time to reach her, etc. When I call back, she is NEVER in her office. After researching the numerous complaints against Sedgwicks unethical tactics, I believe that Ms. Belanger has been instructed to stall me as long as possible. Home Depot is going to fix the roof issue, but I am left with nearly 35k in damages to my home. Home Depot has told me to file a claim with my own insurance company. As this is the second time I have filed for the same damages due to my roof leaking extensively, I was told that I would be dropped if I filed another claim. I will follow up with my state's attorney general and file another formal complaint, however in the meantime I have been completely screwed over by Home Depot and Sedgwick.
