car rental accident against me

I was t boned by a lady driving an avis rental car
We called the police
I took the police report etc to Avis rentals in Gettysburg PA
They told me to file with Sedwick and so I did.
I have been 5 weeks with no vehicle and no response from the company
The garage that holds my car said they have NEVER dealt with such a company
My insurance company State Farm is sending their lawyers to fight it
It is a terrible business!
